I think Thai Purple, located right across from the Edward's Renaissance Theater is a cute Thai Restaurant that serves traditional thai dishes. My favorite thing to order is pad sew-ee and It really is yummy here. You can always order other traditional dishes such as Pad Thai, Tom yum soup, red curry, yellow curry, etc. etc. I thought the service was acceptable and the food satisfying enough.

The restaurant has an A, has excellent food, is nicely decorated BUT the service is horrible! We were seated at a dirty table, which was cleaned AFTER we sat down. It took 10 min. before someone came back to us to even ask us if we wanted a drink. We were ready to order at that point. We ordered 3 dishes...which you would expect to come at the same time. The first dish came out right away (before our drinks even came). It took another 5-8 min. before the next dish came and then another 10 min. before the last dish came. We couldn't even enjoy the main dishes with the rice because the rice was the last one to come!!!! We sat there for another 15 min. before anyone came back to see how we were doing but even then, they didn't ask. They just started taking our plates away. Too bad the service was that bad otherwise I would go back...We'll find another Thai restaurant to go to.

Went for take out midweek and it took over an hour to get my order. The restaurant was only half full but they were understaffed and just ridiculously slow. And it's not that cheap. More expensive than other nearby Thai places like Noodle World and Thai Paradise. The food wasn't bad, but nothing great. Went with the Pad See Ew, Tom Kha Shrimp and Orange Chicken. The soup was below par and the Orange Chicken was kind of soggy. Pad See Ew was fine. Won't be going back.
