A bit uneven but plenty to like

Yasmeen's is a solid neighborhood place, and I'm eager to return to try a few more things. What I had was a bit uneven. Good: cheese & meat sambousik, kibbeh balls, pistachio baklava & pear pastry. Just ok: hummus (smooth but not distinctive), beef kabob. Disappointing: meat pie (tough pastry), grape leaves (too sour) and spinach triangles (again, sour tasting). Service is prompt and friendly and prices are fair.

food with flavor

we have been going to this place for about 2 years now, and we absolutely love it. they have really good food for a good value. i love the hummus it's not too lemony like others tend to be, and thier kibbeh balls are addicting. whenever our friends from out of town visit we bring them here, it's friendly laid back and pleasent, and the food and flavor is always consistent , it's light yet it fills you up.
- Pros: good food, great value, friendly atmosphere
- Cons: sometimes the parking, closed on sundays
