A real gem. We have been here many times and have never had a bad experience. We love the garlic knots and the service has always been outstanding. My husband loves the lasagna and I love the filet of sole, which is the best I've ever had. It's not on the menu but is often a special. We had a party in the upstairs banquet room and we were extemely happy with the food and service.

Not even worth the garlic knots. so for years i have heard about C&O and how great it is - mostly the garlic bread knots is what people talk about. so finally i was on this side of town and actually craving italian food, risotto specifically, so we ended up going to C&O. when i waitress came to greet us of course she talked about the garlic bread knots and how amazing they are and how they are constantly coming around to the tables and refilling your dish with them. So we ordered, they did not have risotto on the menu, so first strike, then as we sat there anxiously awaiting them to bring the garlic knots...they ended up going to every table BUT ours...ok we figured they would be out again in a minute with more..and they were, AGAIN they skipped our table...are you kidding me? at this point my boyfriend got up from the table to mention to the waitress, hey they missed us twice, she acknowledged him, but made no effort to tell the person bringing the bread around to come to our table. so stike two for me. Finally the third time they came out, my boyfriend had to flag them down to bring the garlic knots. Well the garlic knots were good, but the rest of the food, uh..not so great we also ordered lobster bisque and penne al fumo...i am glad i finally made it there, but most likely wont go back.

Awesome place for great Italian food. This place rocks! it's the best italian food in the area, and with great ambience, especially the patio dining. I'll highly recommend it! Read my entire review at my blog.

You should definitely visit this place!

Great tastes and great selection for lunch.. Always much to enjoy. Service is always good. The garlic bread is a must-try, but don't let it spoil your appetite.

Cool Spot. Just like Trattoria down the street, C&O Cucina has the same killer garlic rolls they are famous for. We started with the oh so delicious calamari and a couple of pleasantly suprising strong cocktails. My wife had an excellent Alaskan Salmon and I enjoyed the Cajun Rib Eye. Great spot for dinner as a couple or a group.

Fun atmosphere, great garlic rolls. The food is decent/average Italian, but I go back anyway because of the nice outdoor seating, the goofy waiters who sing, and the amazing garlic rolls that are just addictive.

The rolls! The ROLLS!!!. Smaller than its sister restaurant further down the street, C&O Cucina is a cozy place but still can get quite crowded. Ask to sit at the bar when the dining room is packed. The bread rolls are just as good as the Trattoria. The staff is very friendly but the entrees are just decent. I mainly come for the rolls though.

Hot bartender, great service, unbeatable prices. The first time I dined at C & O Cucina, I sat in the main dining area of the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised. Overall the food was excellent, and so were the prices considering the portions. The server was friendly but not over attentive... however the atmosphere seemed more targeted towards families and children. When I went back the second time with some friends from work, we sat in the Martini Lounge, which is a sports bar/ lounge atmosphere with candle light, Frank Sinatra, and football games playing on the TVs. The blonde bartender was super hot, and friendly as well. She made us some excellent drinks, which were definitely not on the weak side, and she reccommended the White Salmon, which was terrific. The happy hour menu was pretty good (although no one must know about it because we were pretty much the only ones there... fine by me). I will definitely go back again, especially for football season.

Pleasant, friendly, good for kids. We didn't know there were two C&O restaurants. That Tratoria is, apparently, further west down Washington (and solely patio seating?). The Cucina, however, is more restaurant-like in that you are inside, etc. We opted for the Cucina and weren't disappointed. We were seated right away (about 6:45pm on a Friday night). We have a two-year-old who enjoyed drawing on the paper place mats with the crayons provided at each table. Our waiter was friendly and the someone who appeared to be the owner or manager checked in with us probably two or three times about how our meal was, etc. That was nice. I ordered the fire grilled shrimp, which I thought was great. My wife had lasagna. We had plenty between us to also feed our daughter. We'll go back.
