If you like sit down restaurants, then you'll enjoy Hof's hut! I personally like it better than Marie's Calendar, Polly's, or Carrow's. The food is reasonably priced for an American restaurant but all in all its a pretty average place.

Hof's Hut has a cozy atmosphere, that is true to the beach culture of long beach. The food includes all classic sandwiches, salads, soups, and pies of an American Coffee Shop, but is more than your typical dingy estrablishment, with higher quality food and bright interior. I would highly recommend the turkey sandwich and tropical ice tea (my fav. brew of ice tea in the world).
