The Scene
Pop star Justin Timberlake partnered up with nightlife pros Art and Allan Davis (the Lounge, A.D.) for this Sunset Strip restaurant inside the Hyatt. To set the scene, hotshot designer Dodd Mitchell created a Chinese-inspired den of decadence: red-leather banquettes, corset-laced wood chairs and a sunken lounge. Black-clad servers are equally stunning, offering steaming dim sum delights to the likes of Hugh Hefner, starlets and stargazers.
The Food
The menu features an array of seafood, meat-filled dim sum and tapas-sized entrees. Dumplings from the steam cart--pillowy scallop shu mai with black truffle coulis and tender shrimp in translucent rice wrappers--are delectable. Entrees are small and perfect for sharing. Standout options include savory halibut swimming in lemongrass-saffron broth studded with clams and mussels, and tender beef filet served alongside wasabi-spiked potatoes. The sweet and potent Tantric Kiss, made with vanilla vodka, amaretto and a white chocolate wafer, makes it easy to pass up dessert.

I thought that since I had hear so much about it that I would try it out. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed. A friend had a birthday dinner there and they were not very attentive to our large group of 20 people. It was very disorganized and the food is a small selection and honestly don't go for the food. There are other better restraunt that serve dim-sum. But if you must check it out for namesake, the bar is quite nice and a nice place to start an evning or end it but not eat at.

the place looks great, they've put a lot of money into it. i'd recommend sitting somewhere "outside" (it's semi-covered). basically you just order a bunch of dim-sum and have drinks. celebs show up sometimes, but the place is nice to hang out in regardless. nice for out-of-towners and large parties.

The entire experience was horrible!!! The grease-stained printer paper menus, the unimpressive food, unpleasant waitstaff. The whole night was one disaster after another. It does not live up to the name. The food did not compliment the menu discription. I do not recommend going here. I'm not even glad I tried it once.
