overcharging. My kid had some pimples and we visited many of the doctors in the same facility, because our pediatrician Blake Alban, was not necessarily available.

All the doctors had different hypothesis what to do about those pimples, gave us different anti-biotics, cremes and what not.

One of the doctors in the same clinic, Young Nam-Choi tried to take a sample for a test and said she'll call back, although she thought the sample wasn't good enough for a test. She didn't and when we inquired, she said the test didn't happen. But we still had to pay a bill for $310 for this test hat didn't happen and the payment issue was not resolved with her or with the billing department.

After 4 visits with different pediatricians, we met Blake Alban for a final visit. Here's what happened - he said the have no idea what's the problem and gave us a phone of a specialist. That's all. This "service" cost $150.

Oh, and the pimple on the back of the kid where Young Nam-Choi tried to take a sample turned into 6 new pimples, because she not only failed to take a sample but spread the infection. $310 for that service - thank you very much!

My recommendation is - stay away from UCLA Healthcare.
