Contemporary Design Store.
I love this store. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable about her product and happy to chat to you while you browse. The store has so much unique stuff, it's hard to know where to start; beautiful tableware, tablecloths, serving utensils in great designs...colourful cushions from Europe, a few pieces of clothing from designers I haven't really seen before, letter-pressed gift cards, hand made wrapping paper and some really lovely jewellery from local designers. For me a highlight is the great kids section as I am always stuck for something to buy my neices and nephews but not anymore!

In Short
Since 2003, Melanie Miller has displayed an eclectic range of classic and emerging designers in her spacious art deco storefront. Miller's own wood laminate yoga rocker and rocking horse share space with Jonathan Adler's retro bird-shaped salt and peppers, Tracey Tanner's hand-stitched cork and fabric wallets, natural pigment paintings by Nami Ito and Kathleen Walsh's porcelain Chihuahua nightlight. Offbeat children's toys and clothes fill the back of the shop, with a play space for toddlers.
