  • Extraordinary ambiance
  • Familiar with a twist
  • Cocktail hour

Welcome to O-Bar. Our extraordinary ambiance will delight and enchant you as you enjoy our "familiar with a twist" cuisine.

Got a late-night craving for something sweet? Join us for a dessert special not found in any other L.A. restaurant.

Cocktail Hour is 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm daily (bar service only), with drinks at half-price.

The menu, described as "familiar, with a twist," plays on old favorites, as well as traditional classics borrowed from the dining rooms of haute cuisine, focusing these many influences into one successful neighborhood restaurant, one in which patrons will likely extend the term 'neighborhood,' as many will inevitably come to call it 'home.' Feel free to peruse any of our menus below.

Editorial Review for O-Bar Restaurant – by Tara de Lis

The Scene
Unlike its minimalistic predecessor Felt, this stylish eatery is over-the-top gorgeous. With a decorating eye toward Atlantis, the underwater fantasy features frosted-blue accents, dangling quartz rocks and thin, coral-like rods sprouting above the bar. Thinly veiled cabanas host groups of business diners and local A-gays, while cuddly couples and see-and-be-seen singles occupy smaller tables and banquettes. Handsome servers are rushed, but still find time to dote.

The Food
American classics are gussied up with innovative flavors and decadent presentation. Standout starters include savory duck confit swathed in salty-sweet black-truffle vinaigrette, and perfectly dressed spinach salad loaded with crispy pancetta and cabrales cheese. Entrees are hearty, like meat loaf en croute--a crisp pie-crust stuffed with hearty veal and pork. Lobster macaroni and cheese is light on the creamy marscapone and fontina, but gets livened up by pesto crumbs. The gooey, skillet-baked chocolate-chip cookie and refreshing homemade sorbet are essential desserts.

We had our Wedding Reception at O-Bar and everything was wonderful. The fun-loving Management ensured that every detail was complete; the staff was attentive, the drinks and appetizers were perfect! Our loved ones had a fantastic time. We could not have asked for a better location or atmosphere or experience! Thank you Billie & O-Bar!

Pros: Great indoor areas and decor; great outdoor area and firepit; wonderful staff

Probably the best restaurant in WeHo that caters to the gay crowd. High quality food and cooking with high (but not outrageous) prices to match. Very busy on Thursdays; also very loud and crowded at the bar. Been a couple times for dinner and it's usually all very good. Great steak. Good short ribs. Good fish. Ambiance is nice, except when it's overrun by the gelled-up, professional (read: 30yr+) homo-set. Great outdoor seating area in front, but gets smokey fast. Great customer service every time I have been.

Pros: good food

Cons: overcrowded sometimes
