good stylist, worst owners, great cut, very nice staff, nice bonus, great head massage, very reasonable oh
The best haircut in years!!!!!. I had a haircut last night!!!! The stylist name was Richard!!!! He understood exactly what I needed it and gave me a new look!!! He was very professional and did an amazing job!!!!! I walked out super happy and got tons of compliments on my hair!!!!!
WORST OWNERS EVER!!!. Do not support these owners they are Forgien and and do not treat there employees with respect or any kind of humanism.
Owners are AWFULL. I meant to give my previous review only one star. I would give no stars if it was at all possible.
Owners are AWFULL. all the bad reviews are true this place is a joke! mentally abuseing your staff is not the way to run a buisness. high turn over rate cause people with enough sense get out of there quickly. I have alot of friends that use to work for them the things they would say are shocking. verbal and mental abuse should be against the law! do not give these people your money there are better salons out there. if u like a stylist at any Kriza, I suggest you ask them for thier number cause they won't be there long.
Confused Owners.....
I've heard from several people that all Kriza salon's have an extremely high turn over rate... there is a reason. The owner's have no idea what they are doing and try to be manipulative with their employees. I've actually had my best friend quite his job there because they don't treat their stylist with respect. I tried to give them a chance and applied for a position there (close to my house) as a salon coordinator... which which advertised on a website, CLEARLY. After wasting my time to go in for an interview for a basic receptionist position, which was ACTUALLY what they were hiring, I decided to never return & to inform everyone on the owner's poor business practices. Did they really think that trying to manipulate people to get them in to apply for a job that wasn't actually available would work? Maybe on people who are slow but usually people don't want that type of employee...
All in all, I've known clients, stylist's and employees that despise this place.... and now I know why.
Aveda should really reconsider allowing them to represent their company...
NOT RECOMMENDED.
I would not recommend this salon to anyone!! the location is great , but thats about it!!!! the management is terrible, they MANIPULATE their poor stylist and I went and saw Hita for a hair cut and color and my hair is destroyed. I had to go somewhere else for a redo.

Loved it!!!!!!!!. If you want a great colorist Hita is the one! Love, love, love my Highlights. She is so busy and she still took the time to sit and listen to my needs. They also give you a hand scrub when you are waitng with the foils in your hair. Before you leave they touch up your make up. I also noticed that they were all hepling each other. Great team you will not be dissapointed. Oh and to top it off the price for the work they do is very reasonable.
Great "Green" Salon!. I have used Aveda products for many years back in North Carolina so when I moved to Los Angeles I was looking to replenish my products and found the Kriza Aveda Salon. I booked a conditioning treatment and just loved it! I just wanted to recomend a great head massage from Marina and will be seeing her for color very soon. The tea served is a nice bonus.
Best ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love it !.
Highly reccommend it. I have been going here for about 2 years.
They girls are a hoot! They have alot of fun. Not a stuck up enviroment. I am comfortable going to any stylist. The owners are great when they are there they always come over and say hi!
AND most of all I leave with great hair too.
Simply great all around. No complaints here!!!
Bad Hair, Bad environment. When I walked into Aveda Kriza for my first time the first thing I noticed is how unhappy the employees seemed. Their front desk people DO NOT resemble any type of beauty and seemed stressed out. I was lucky enough ( the first time) to walk out with a DECENT cut. So... I tried them again... This being six weeks later the stylist i had seen had already moved on to bigger and better things ( employees, especially good stylists do not last there.) They told me that they would take care of me but that I needed to drive to another location " down the street" (ps. it's not just down the street) I love Aveda so I figured I would give it another chance. It took the stylist 3 and a half hours to give me highlights and on top of that they had to be re-done because she let the foils leak onto my head and left me with bleach spots. I had spent so much time there that I learned their management is at fault and that they will pretty much hire anyone that can hold sissors
