Beware! Worst customer service ever!. My fiance & I recently visited the Torrance store to get my engagement ring resized. "Matt Hernandez" was assigned to help us. This salesperson is very rude, arrogant, condescending & completely unprofessional. He gave us a bad vibe from the start. Every word out of his mouth was rude & unprofessional. When i told him that he was rude & that I did not appreciate his attitude, he replied that he was not rude & gave me a creepy smile. I quickly took my ring back from him & stormed out of the store. If Matt Hernandez cannot sell a service as simple as ring resizing, how is he going to sell jewelry with that poor attitude? After my horrible experience at this store, I wlll never ever do business at any Robbins Brothers store. Beware! Spend your hard earned money at another establishment with better jewelry selection & much better customer service! I would give this store a zero of out 5 star rating if I could.

A word of advice about Robbins Brothers. The only reason that you should visit Robbins Brothers is to see a lot of styles, all in one place, before you go to find something comparable for much, much cheaper elsewhere. Do not expect to have consistent, competent, or well-informed service. When picking out our engagment ring last year, my fiance and I were passed off between three different people, all of whom told us different (and contradictory) things about the rings. When we attempted to follow up on purchasing one of the rings, they were terrible about returning calls or e-mails. The thing that was so laughable about the whole experience was how they talked up the "wonderful experience"they were trying to create at their store, and how they treat everyone like "family". Eventually, my fiance ordered a beautiful ring elsewhere that was almost exactly the setting that Robbins Brothers had offered, with almost .25 carats more in terms of diamonds-- for almost $1500 less. Not learning from past experience, we went to Robbins Brothers to look for wedding bands yesterday. Again, we were passed off between several people, and once again, we were given a number of contradictory pieces of information. When we got home, empty-handed (thank goodness, it turns out!), I was able to find the exact same ring for him for $400 less on-line, with a guarentee that the ring would arrive in plenty of time-- this when the Robbins Brothers people told us there was absolutely no way they could have it here in two months. We are still looking for my band, but I can tell you where we are NOT going to be getting it-- the Robbins Brothers in Torrance!
