Great everything! Especially for large parties!. I went here for my birthday dinner along with 20 other guests, and the food, service, and ambiance were great! The food and drinks are especially yummy while the decor and lighting really donate to a hip but casual atmosphere. Service was friendly and helpful especially considering our large party. We chatted and sat before and after dinner for awhile without the service pushing us to move for their other guests. The food is really great as well - try the ribs and yucca bread! But watch out because all of those small portions can add up pretty quickly.

Great Dive Bar, that's only known by word of mouth. A great dive bar with great scenery. Great ambience. Weekends, the floor turns into club. Never even thought about stopping here because it's a hole in the wall (of Ventura Blvd.). I completely skip this whole section off the 101 freeway, but I'm glad I stopped by for a charity event. Bring all your hip and chill friends here. Nice getaway for all who seek privacy..

MMMM.....Minibar...... Loved this place, great scene, great decor. Felt hip and trendy and I'm not. Reservations are a must but we were seated promptly. We were served a small taste of Cava sparkling wine to start and given hot towels, just like first class on a plane. Great menu, diverse small plates to share. My husband loves the gouda biscuits the ahi tuna tower and the shrimp with cactus. I thought the short ribs and Marrakesh chicken wings were both so flavorful. Drinks were pretty good though a few of the martinis were to sweet for me. Defintely want to come back.

I love this place!. The first time I ate at minibar, I thought I would never come back. It was SO LOUD I could not hear the two people across from me at the table. However, the food was so good I decided to give it another try. It is now my boyfriend & I's favorite restaurant. The chicken flautas are AMAZING, the mushroom risotto and the yucca bread are delicious too. We have been there countless times since my first visit and it has never been loud like that. I am so happpy I gave it another try- this is definitely one of my favorite restaurants!

Sunday Price Fix was great. We went on a Sunday and had the chef's tasting, which apparently changes from week to week. It was a great experience. The food was great, the ambiance was funky and the people watching was good.

Who knew the Valley could be so posh!. Really tasty food served in generous tapas portions. Wonderful ambience and decor. Now I hear they are adding a lounge next door and starting happy hour? I am in heaven.

The food is strong to quite strong, but.... Whilst eagerly anticipating another nightly outing to Minibar, I was deeply disappointed to find that they were actually closed as of 11.15PM. This ran in bitter opposition with their stated hours of 1.00AM on Sunday through Thursday. While I will agree the food and atmosphere are top notch as they relate to a tapas bar, the fact that they could not honestly and accurately provide their open hours was a tremendous letdown. That said, I would highly recommend Minibar for its delightful dishes and unique ambiance.

Is there anything bad on this menu?? I don't think so!. This place rocks. the environment is trendy and cute... and all the food is fantastic, especially this marinated steak and blue cheese tapa. I could eat 10 of those. And the desserts are to die for. Check it out...it's such a treat!

yummyyummyyummyigotfuninmytummy. just moved to lake hollywood/studio city area and have been checking out the local spots. i drove by this place and the giant white "M" (for minibar) floating in the window caught my eye. all i can say is thank god for giant floating white "Ms"!! i ate myself into a bliss coma. midway through my meal i actually started calling friends to join me--and not so much for the company but so i could order more food. each one of the small plates here is a taste bomb that explodes in your mouth, each with its own unique flavor and cultural origin. it's like travelling the world via a menu. the mojitos rock and there is a drink called "grape soda" that could be the new most addictive thing in the world. the service was spot on and the music was a blast--everything from opera to punk with emphasis on 70s bubblegum pop. went back three time the first week and can't wait for my next visit. cheers to you minibar!!!

Elegant and Down Home. Went here on a special date. I think its been about a year since I've been to MiniBar, and its actually improved (I'm from NYC and generally expect less from LA restaurants.) The ribs and the venison are still fantastic - they've added many 1/2 bottles of wine making it easier to pair wine with your courses. The night I went (Thursday) they had a guest chef from Madrid/NYC doing specials (Chef Paul Ragan, chef/owner of Toma,) I hear this is an ongoing thing. I used to follow favorite chefs from restaurant to restaurant in NYC and its a treat to find the same experience (finally!) here in LA. MiniBar still feels like you're at a really posh house party in the hills with excellent food rather than a formal restaurant. Thanks for a great night!
