I’ve never seen anything like this before

This place is truly unique, even for Hollywood. I’ve never seen anything like it before. The Velvet Elvis paintings & the Elvis movies in Spanish were a nice touch! I’m majoring in Latin Studies & appreciate the authenticity. We had to wait 45 min. for our table, but it was Friday night, and it was well worth it -- free chips & salsa as soon as we sat down. $5 Margarita was a great deal, and my friend had the one in the pineapple, which was $30 – ouch! Food was great, too – make sure to try the Chile Relleno! Next time I’m going to stay longer & hang out at the outdoor bar after dinner – the bartenders have a little attitude, but they’re hot!!!

Great place for a birthday

My friends took me to the Velvet Margarita for my 21st birthday last weekend. What a great place for a party! The staff was very accommodating, from the Host, who made sure our large group was well taken care of, to our Server, who was attentive to a fault, and the Bartenders, who made us stiff drinks all night long! We stayed at our table for over 4 hours and they never made us feel rushed at all. They even put a candle in the Chocolate Mousse Cake and sang me Happy Birthday! Afterwards, we decided to hang out at the Patio Bar. Excellent DJ played a nice mix & we danced all night. What a great birthday! Thanks Velvet Margarita – we’ll be coming back!
