Editorial Review for Oliver Cafe & Lounge – by Katherine Turman
In Short
Linq owner Mario Oliver's circular, glass-enclosed restaurant offers a bright atmosphere and dynamic food to match. In a nod to its Sports Club affiliation, select dishes, like Norwegian salmon and a raw vegetable platter, are dietitian-approved and contain less than 500 calories. Heartier fare includes steaks, pork chops and seasonal soups. Post-workout singles and calorie-counting couples visit for the spa menu, but are free to indulge in fruity smoothies and full bar offerings.

I've been to Oliver twice and both times I've enjoyed the atmosphere, and spectacular food/drinks. Oliver specializes in healthy foods, but don't let that reputation fool you, they don't sacrifice on the taste whatsoever! My personal favorite is the smoked salmon crostini appetizer and filo wrapped goat cheese. Both are just amazing and less than 500 calories each! If you're in the mood for wine, they have a pretty good wine list, and quite a few wines available by the glass. Their happy hour is awesome too with $3.00 beers and $5.00 martinis. The non-alcoholic wheat grass martini is a favorite here. Finally, the entrees are pretty large...especially the chicken enchilada, which is delicious, and huge! Before I forget, the service is also superb - every one I've met there has been very friendly and knowledgeable. Stop by on a week day and sit back and enjoy!
Pros: Great food, cheap prices, good wine list
Cons: Few beers on tap, limited parking, small seating area

The food was great and even healthy. The tirmisu had around 100 calories, shocking! The decor is very nice without being to over done like many places. I started with sashumi and ended with meat loaf. Even my vegan friend was very pleased with the selections. There is a nice bar too.
Pros: healthy, bar, inexpensive
