Great Food!. Okay, I admit it is not the cheapest place in Pasadena but it is not bad. Very impressed with the fact that you can buyt tortilla by the kilo (just like my grandmas!) and their fresh baked bread. I've never had a problem here and was confident enough to bring my mom who is never impressed by restaurant food. She liked it (not loved but that's the best I can get out of her). Not bad if you are spending the day in Pasadena.

Worst Mexican Food in Pasadena. Can't believe people actually eat here. I ate for the first time a couple weeks ago and was very dissapointed. The meat was flavorless and hard. I paid $2.50 for a small single taco. I don't like taco bell much but their tacos are much better for a quarter of the cost. The service was awful. After nawing at my first taco I took my second taco up to the young woman at the counter and told her the meat wasn't very good and I would like to try the shredded kind. Well she didn't even look me in the eye, she actually rolled her eyes and told the waiter to make a shredded one. It took them 10 minutes and she just threw the plate my way and never even attempted to be nice or apologize. Go somewhere good if you're going to spend your money. This place stinks.

What a rip!. The food here is not that good, and WAY overpriced. Very americanized and not worth the money, I would not reccomend eating here at all.

would NOT recommend. I've eaten here a couple of times, thinking it might have changed but no such luck. If this place were in a mostly hispanic community it would not have lasted. I would not recommend this place because of the overpriced menu and the food is not that great. Although their champurado is good.

Surprisingly Good. At first I was skeptical about this place and did not know what to think.

One night I was wanting to try something different and decided to pop on in.

I had a bowl of their Pozole (it's like Menudo but without the tripe) and a couple of tacos.

I was very pleased with the quality of the food. This place also has a full salsa bar for those looking for some heat. Their menu offers a wide variety of Mexican specialties.

What a waste!. I finally tried this resturant after passing by several times. What a waste of time and money. Very disappointing! 2 burritos and 2 small sodas for $18? The asada was cold and tastless. The carnitas was no better. Very skimpy on the tasteless meats also. It was mostly filled with rice and beans (Fluff) and very mushy. It came with 5 or 6 small tortilla chips...no lie. I will not recommend this place to anybody. But if you want to spend your money for subpar mexican food, by all means, knock yourself out.

Will try again. Had lunch here two weeks ago. The service was okay, but not outstanding. Had a tamale and a burrito, both of which came to the table hot and tasty. The large side portion of tortilla chips could have been downsized, and some fresh salad added instead. That would have been a nice mixture. The pricing seems a little high but it didn't seem to bother the tons of people who came and went while we enjoyed our meal. The waitress took the time to describe some of the unfamiliar menu items and gave us samples of the mint lemonade which we'll probably have next time we go. Their pastries looked wonderful, and will try something from that counter next time, as well.

Consistency? Good Food? Not Here. I have given this place 3 chances. Will not return. Every time I have been, orders have been messed up. Potato Taco? How 'bout cold McD french fries in a cold, limp tortilla?? Dona Rosa Burrito - greasy, congealed mess. Refried beans were great first time (friend ordered black beans, got these), disgusting second time. Salsas completely different all 3 times. Al Pastor dry, tasteless. Nothing left to say.
