good food, very good customer service, recommend place, best deals, friendly waiters, worst spinachscallop salad, friendly waitresses
Spinach Scallop Salad Gross. To call their bruschetta by that name is a total insult to the dish. It consisted of chopped cherry tomatoes with possibly two slivers of basil. The "bread" really seemed more like crackers. The calamari was etible because it was fried in olive oil but I have had much better. My spinach/scallop salad was the worst. I have never had a spicy salad before. After eating one third I sent it back. The server was so sweet. She kept asking me if I wanted to order anything else. After the crackers and tomatoes, then this I really didn't want to eat anything else off their menu. She had the salad dropped from the bill as well as the glass of wine that apparently had been opened serveral days before. To be fair it may have been their first trial on their new "Mediteranian Sampler Menu". I am of Italian heritage and I have been to Italy. Nothing we ate came even remotely close. Please don't call it Italian food.
Performing chefs cook up rustic, home-style Italian entrees at this buzzing family restaurant..
In Short
A boisterous, all-ages crowd of pasta lovers pack this energetic Italian spot, where chefs clad in white hats and red scarves keep diners wide-eyed by showing their moves in the busy open kitchen. The menu boasts family-sized portions of hearty traditional fare, from antipasti, chicken and pasta dishes to seafood, steak and wood-fired pizzas. Signature plates include grilled pork chops, lobster ravioli, and penne rustica with shrimp, grilled chicken and smoked prosciutto in cream sauce.
One of the Best Deals in L.A. County!. Brought my sister and niece to dinner for my sister's birthday. We had a really good time. The wine was good, the food--excellent! Try the calamar, bruschetta, and their one and only chocolate cake. And, yes, the entrees are also up there.
I recommend this place. I read some bad reviews on this particular Macaroni grill..And some of the reviews were pretty bad. Almost to the point were i didn't want to go..But i decided to go and find out for myself. The service was fine and the food was good. I didnt have to wait that long for my food. They also brought a little cake and sang happy birthday to my wife in Italian..I do recommend this place..
