In Short – This tucked-away gem on the second floor of a quaint Pasadena mall offers acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine in addition to massage and skin care. The spa is in a narrow space, but the East-meets-West design scheme makes it both mystical and comfortably appointed. There's also a small, well-designed relaxation area and a shower. Their signature service, "Acussage," begins with acupuncture and ends with a calming massage.

Creepy Male Massage Therapist

by Angie C at Citysearch

Ron gave me a massage and he did not cover me properly. He asked if I wanted an abdominal massage and I said yes. When I turned over to face up, he put a small towel over my Double D chest and the towel barely covered my nipples leaving most of my chest uncovered. This guy is creepy.

I wrote this review because I don't want any other woman to have to experience similar experience.

  • Cons: Beware of this male therapist

Awesome !!!

by Southnjes at Citysearch

I got a gift for a massage at this place from a friend of mine. Being a guy that's not too much into massages in the first place, I went there expecting pretty much the same as I got from my last massage experiences at some of the other well known places, they were just ok. (They were gifts too).

Well all I can say is I'm hooked. First I love the feel of the place, small, cozy and a very, very comfortable feeling. The staff were great and friendly, the owners introduced themselves and were very down to earth. Something I missed at the other places. The decor is relaxing, it's not made to look like you need to relax, it just does it to you on it's own without any effort.

The masseuse was AMAZING, I felt so comfortable and relaxed, I felt "this is something I needed", never had that feeling before either.

The whole experience left me wanting more, I have been back pretty much every month for a relaxing break from the wonders of hospital nursing, and all I can say is that I will be continuing to carry that on. I live westside and I really think it's worth the drive.

The only con for this place is that it's a hidden gem and that not everyone will hear about it, but hey I guess that's what makes this place the best spa in LA county which keeps me coming back ;)

  • Pros: Price, experience you will get.

Best Massage Therapist/Acupuncturist!

by Graciebaby at Citysearch

I love this spa! I've been a loyal client of Kevin Taylor's for about 5 years. He is the best massage therapist. He actually is a Acupuncturist, so he really understands the body and has helped many problems I've had with my pains. The spa is beautiful and cozy. It is smaller than other spa's but I feel this allows for a more personal relationship. Alice the spa director is genuine. She is detailed, professional and NICE. I would highly recommend that you try out this spa. Its a gem!
