In Short – Located in the Casita del Campo restaurant, the performance space is a sparse, boxy, gray-and-black room with a floor-level stage, rows of high-backed blue-leather chairs and a stairwell entrance emblazoned with garish silver stars. While the adjoining Mexican restaurant attracts both families and hipster singles, the programming in its cellar theater is decidedly adult. Its eclectic roster includes campy shows, cabaret, alt-rock singer-songwriters and theme programs with L.A. performance art mainstays like Brian Grillo and Mink Stole.
