In Short – Revamped in 2003, this infamous and appropriately named club atop the Roxy Theatre is a Sunset Strip legend. Enter through a side door near the Roxy entrance and follow the dark stairway up to an intimate, unspectacular blue neon-lit lair. A bar stretches across a black-tile floor that vibrates when the music starts cranking from below. Where to Sit:
There's a secret side room next to the men's bathroom where VIPs can be VIPs with nobody looking.
When to Go:
The small space fills up early on weekends, so your best bet is to go on a Thursday night when the crowd isn't as thick.
Parking:
Chances are you won't find street parking; pay the $5-$15 fee at one of the many private lots on Sunset.
Look Good:
If you're in the mood to dance up a storm, try working the dancing poles. But as the sign indicates, you have to "pole at your own risk."
