Editorial Review for Indiana Jones Adventure – by Katherine Turman
The Background
Dashing adventurer Indiana Jones' feats of daring are well-documented on film, and, thanks to Disney's team of engineers and artists, is duplicated on this hair-raising off-road excursion, where jaw-dropping obstacles pop up at every bump in the twisty road. In the Temple of the Forbidden Eye, no detail is ignored, from the faux hieroglyphics and excavation sites as guests wait in line, to the flickering lights illuminating the underground temple.
The Experience
Surprises, creative details and great special effects around every quick turn and dip make the convertible jeep journey one even Harrison Ford might find treacherous. Three rows of seats hold four people during a rocky ride that features strobe lighting, skeletons, bugs, blow darts and a booming, triumphant soundtrack. Highlights include the collapsing bridge, and a giant stone boulder that threatens to crush the Jeeps.

Insider Tips
Where to SitFor the wildest ride, sit in the front seat, so you can see what scary obstacles await.
Save TimeIt's one of the most popular attractions, so opt for a FastPass--slide your park ticket into the ride's kiosk and return at a pre-designated time for a much shorter wait.
Know Before You GoRiders must be 46 inches tall. Starts, stops and turns can be rough on anyone with a bad back or neck. Expectant mothers shouldn't ride, and loose objects can and will go flying.

Likes Pirates of the Caribbean, this is another Disneyland attraction that has renewed interest thanks to a recent movie. This jeep tour lets you ride along on an Indiana Jones high-octane adventure. And while it doesn’t have the high speeds and dips of a roller coaster, it provides just as many thrills with optical illusions and “surprises” around every turn. For the friend I was with, this was her favorite ride on the day, but I wasn’t a fan at all as I get freaked out when it looks like things are about to fly in my face. But I could see why must people would love it. It's very creative as far as non-coaster, thrill rides go.

This ride is really in the "must ride" category at Disneyland. The work that went into creating this ride is really incredible. It's very surprising and yet mild enough for small children. You really won't believe your eyes.
