Good food, but why not serve bisson burgers? Love them. Overall good place, but just too pricy for what you get.

Over Priced Burgers. This place is over priced and not that big a deal. I went in for a burger (they weren't that busy) but a problem developed with my order.

First, a guy who wasn't my waiter brought me a side of sweet potato fries which I didn't order but was on my bill!

Secondly, I watched 3 tables, which had been seated after me, receive their food before I got mine. By they time I got my food I'd lost my appetite.

I'd ordered the southwestern burger bowl (a burger on a bed of lettuce no bun). The meat was dry and the greens were wilted. I was happy when the bill finally came only to discover I was charged and additional .50 for some sauce I hadn't ordered!

Maybe they had an off day but I don't care to return and give them another try.

Jipped ..1/3 burger is small and cost big $$$$$$. No way this is worth the money you spend, unless you order the 1/2 pound or more and you will pay big form it. If your looking for a great burger and maybe a fresh Albacore sandwich try "The Habit". No beer or wine though.

Awesome Food. Our food came out on time and was prepared just right. I would recommend this place to a hungry person the portions are huge! Service as ok but the food made up for it! I

lets be real. The food is okay i'm not going to lie, but a rip for what your getting. I mean the burger doesn't come with a thing, AND your not even getting these so called "holy" burgers on a decent plate...plus i've had much better sweet potato fries...try sf saloon on west pico, cheaper/better drinks too

Another Generational gap place to eat. Zero rating, Terrible parking, Way overrated food, Not in the class of TGIF, Hof's Hut, Claim Jumper but in same price range. Noisy, terrible seating, Very very bland food. Not woth the price or the experience. Misleading menu on ordering fries. I expected a single order( $1.25) and got a regular order($3.25) Meat almost tasteless. Another restaurant in the mold of Panera, corner Bakery, wildflower, Chipolte, Baja fresh. Neither comfortable nor value nor taste.

Stick with the old time restaurants and avoid the generational gap ones.

Find Them on Twitter!. Unknown to the public (unless you follow them on Twitter or fan them on Facebook), build your own burger mecca The Counter offers 4 mini-burgers and beer pairings for $12. You have to follow them to see when this special is being offered at your local location, but it's a great deal knowing that just one of their regular burgers cost around $10. If you ever dreamed of being a Burger Architect. you owe it to yourself to try one of The Counter locations around LA. the Build Your Own Burger concept is great and you end up with tastes you never expected on a burger - whether you choose a turkey, beef, chicken or veggie patty.

this one is closest to santa monica but can be rather packed at times. I like the busy atmosphere but usually opt for to-go service. do not miss the sweet potato fries!!
