My hair is healthy again!. Thanks to Victor my hair feels better than ever! Victor spent time with me, and told me what he felt my hair needed. He saw "who" I was and heard what I was interested in for my hair color and cut, but also told me what he felt suited my face and coloring. Victor repaired my hair with a deep protein conditioner, which made my hair feel sooo much healthier. I have never had my hair colored by someone so talented. Victor knows how to enhance a person's natural features with the cut and the color. I came in with a long, dry, blonde mop of hair, because someone had used bleach on my normally strawberry blonde color. I am now back to an enhanced version of my natural hair color. I left feeling revived, and will be back for more hair cuts in the future. Not only is he talented, but he is a great person too! Highly recommended!

OK, you've won me!. I am flying into LA next week and was looking for a great stylist to give me a great cut and colour. I was intending to book at Jonathon's only because I saw his reality show on TV (yes in Norway),but after comparing reviews, I've been won over by the underdog.....here's my first impressions anyway....I called Jonathons before opening time and was advised by the answering machine to call back as "this machine does not take messages"....hmmm (why else does one have a machine then) I wondered...... Is this the price of fame ?

Not being one to be turned away, I looked elsewhere (Jonathon, you really need to improve your customer service for the well wont always be full-and speaking from a potential customer's pov, it tarnished your image to be turned away like this before I've even gotten in the door!

So, glaring in the shadows, no doubt, was another, Victor Hung, and while the name sounds vaguely familiar (like a far reaching successful ad campaign had somewhere somehow pierced my psychy at some point back in time) I can't say I knew of him.....

To the point, I read the reviews and was greatly impressed so I'm going to take a leap of faith and venture into the unknown (I mean what can be worse than a walk in, in a foreign non english speaking country and using sign language to ask for a cut - yes, uha, that's me - never again!!)...so i called their number and got the answering machine (again i called before opening time) but I got a friendly message asking me to leave my number and someone would call back.....I liked that....

So already I have a favourable impression of Victor Hugo salon so stay tuned to find out what happens......

most fabulous hair stylist i've ever met!. i LOVE victor! I did not think my hair was correctable but he managed to pull off a miracle! He definitely knows what he's talking about and he was able to explain to me very thoroughly about the science behind hair coloring. I'm so happy I went to victor to get my hair done, and I'm definitely going back!

Great Haircut!!!. I was having a hard time with my previous stylist giving me an A-line haircut. Victor Hugo did an absolutely wonderful job. I'm getting compliments from so many people, I have a couple of friends that are going to go to him based off of my haircut. I will continue to go to him, he's a great stylist with great tips. I would definetly recommend him.

Great Colourist. I had my hair colored by Victor over a month ago and it still looks fabulous. The color is still vibrant and my hair is in great condition. I moved here from London a few months ago and was nervous about finding a new colorist. However i trusted the reviews i found on Citysearch and i wasn't disappointed.

The consultation was very thorough and Victor instantly understood what i wanted. He didn't try to persuade me into anything i didn't want and even recommended i wait to have my hair cut until next time as it would be unnecessary. Who many hairdressers do that?! Most of the time you find that salons are out to charge as much as they can.

Victor colored my hair beautifully and i left feeling great. I've had lots of compliments and can't wait to go back to see him again. The whole experience was very personalized and professional and he really knows his stuff. My hair looked great, i found a wonderful colorist and it was more than reasonably priced.

Highly recommended!

Great consultation. This wasn't just a typical haircut - Victor listened to what I said about the length and style that I wanted, and made it work with the texture and thickness of my hair along with the shape of my head and face. Everyone in the salon is very friendly, and it's a nice space.

Absolute Best Colorist. I spent years searching LA for a stylist who could give me the same natural highlights I had when I was spending alot more time in the sun. The whole idea of natural seemed to fall on deaf ears until I met Victor!. He is amaaazzzzing!!!! Absolutely do yourself a big favor and go see him for all your coloring needs, as well as cuts. I love my hair and get many complements on it. It looks great and is very healthy because of the gentle way he does the highlights. His work is beautiful, prices are great, and he is extremely charming with a soothing and kind spirit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

Dedicated and professional. I'm from out of town and had to attend an important business dinner in Beverly Hills on a Saturday night. I called Victor Hugo on the Friday to request an urgent appointment for a cut and color and, even though he was fully booked for that day, he made a special effort to accommodate me late Saturday afternoon. I arrived at my 4:30 appointment and was not made to wait. He was extremely professional and friendly, even offering me advice on things to do in the city while I'm here. The cut was excellent (I was complimented on my hair at the dinner) and the color and highlights were perfect, even though he is not my usual stylist. He was able to "read" my hair perfectly. He worked late into the evening, finishing up just before 7pm, to make sure my hair was perfect for the dinner and showed genuine concern that it be 100% correct. His charges were far less than I had anticipated and were extremely reasonable for this area. I will visit him again when I am next in West Hollywood and would not hesitate to recommend his services.

Victor really knows hair. I've been going to Victor for at least five years now, and he always does a fantastic job. He REALLY listens to me - I'm pretty much a no-fuss woman who doesn't have the time or skill to do a lot of fancy work with my hair. I've had other stylists completely ignore me when I tell them that, and give me a haircut that looks awful the next morning, because I can't do the fancy brushwork they did. When he cuts it, my hair looks great for weeks afterwards, even as it's growing out! I don't know how he does it, but it comes out perfectly every single time - and I have a lot of natural curl and waviness. I look professional, polished and best of all, my husband really likes it! He always takes time to look at it, and says, "Wow! You look really pretty! Victor did a great job!" Plus - Victor is just a super nice guy and a good person - so you get a great haircut and you feel like you're helping one of the few "good guys" in a city that's not exactly known for down-to-earth, genuine and real people.
