Great Food! Great Service!. From the time we walked in we were amazed. The food was great. There was so much to choose from. From steak to meat loaf, from pasta to pot pie. The drinks were also great. There was a guy named Barry that worked there he was great, Very funny great attitude. He make our experience there even better. I suggest you not miss Kate's

Yum!. Great menu with plenty of selections, but not too many. Decent price for the amount and quality of the food, good service and nice ambience. Fantastic Greek/Mediterranean salad.

If you have problems with gift cards. I had a problem with expiring gift cards and took it up with the owners. If you have gift card which does not have an expiration date printed on the card, and yet they will not honor the card, remind them that the owners have promised to comply with the law, which says that expiring gift cards must have a clearly printed expiration date on the card.

They don't do chicken right. went for a business lunch. Had the Buffalo Chicken Salad. What a disappointment. Way overpriced $16.50 for what amounted to a mound of lettuce and 2/3rd's of a lifeless chicken breast dipped in sauce. A better version can be had at Denny's for half the price. The waiter was present but not connected to us. We were his only table.

Bad Food and Horrible Service!!! Save you money and AVOID this place!!!!!!!. After reading a couple of reviews I decided to take my mother who was visiting from out of state to Kate?s. We were greeted by a hostess, after she finished applying her lip gloss and sending a text message of course, who rolled her eyes when I requested a booth, saying ?ummm, they?re all booths.? After the warm welcome I had high expectations for the food, after all with all the good reviews this place had I figured it definitely wasn?t for good service. Our waitress who looked intoxicated and slurred her speech kept twirling her hair as we tried to order some drinks. After ignoring our table (the restaurant was EMPTY by the way) for about 20 minutes, and forgetting to bring bread, the waitress finally came back and took our order. I ordered a $40 NY Strip Steak that came out looking like a $4.95 Sunday Special Steak at Denny?s. The portion was extremely small and thin, I ordered it rare, it came out half medium and half well-well done. It wasn?t even edible!!!!!!! My mother ordered the crabcakes which despite the small portion ended up being pretty tasty. I DO NOT recommend anyone waste their money on this place, you?d be better off getting a steak at Denny?s or Norms!!! I couldn?t figure out how this place got such good reviews, but now I think I?ve figured it out? the dates, the place got killer reviews a year or so ago, but it is definitely not worthy of the praise now-a-days. This is my first time being so disgusted and disappointed that I?ve actually signed up and written a review, so please take my advice and save yourself from a horrible dining experience.

WORST turkey burger in the world, drinks -no buzz, veggies overcooked. I used to live around the corner in beverly Hills and went to "Kate's frequently, untill the turkey burger! Shocked, disillusioned, horrified, I could have soled my manolos with it and prayed that anyone i had refered there, never actually went. I considered selling them my own recipe, but decided against it. The decor is refreshing. The tables widely spaced. It looks clean. However one looks over one's shoulder more than once in hope of making an appointment with wait staff. The food is definitely overpriced and by the way, indeed it isn't Mack Donalds. It isn't the Four Seasons (NYNY) or La Gavroche ,London, or Brasserie Lippe in Paris either.

Excellent food and service, definitely worth visiting!. This location is by the same people at Kate's in Beverly Hills, thus I knew I had to visit on my way through town (since I so rarely go up that way). AND I AM GLAD I DID; I ordered the avocado burger with beer-battered fries and was in heaven! I don't know what kind of sauce they use but it is delicious and fresh. I was surprised that the avacado was so good and salty, which added just the right flavor to the burger and the fact that it was not mushy was fantastic. I met a girlfriend of mine there and hadn't seen her in a long time, so i was nervous because I had ranted and raved about the Bev. Hills location and didn't want to disappoint. Turns out she had been wanting to go to that place for a while,so she was went in with a very critical mind-frame. Now this is a gal that is SO picky about food too, so i was extra worried. But as soon we walked in we were greeted by a very friendly gal who went the extra mile to accomodate us: when I told her we were old friends visiting for lunch she said "in that case, let's seat you two in an area where you can chat". She then took us to a quant area of the restaurant where it wasn't too noisy, which I really appreciated. The waiter came shortly after and said "I hear you two have a lot of catching up to do...alot of talking means you'll be thirsty" and had waters in hand! They really put there best foot forward so we left a big tip. We are certainly going to make that our reunion place from now on!!!

Horrible, don't bother!. Horrible, don't bother. The famous Mac and Cheese was more like dry and old. Really really awful. And the manager acted like, yeah so what. Total attitude. Uncalled for. Sadly, they are not customer friendly at all. I wonder if Kate herself knows how lame this location is? The Bev Hills location is far superior.

Great Food but consistently WORST SERVICE.. Have eaten here 8 times in the last couple of months. 5 sit downs & 3 take outs. The food here is fantastic. As many people say that it's over priced comfort food, it is somewhat justified. THe food is very good. My favorite is the sauteed mushroom burger. Their white chili (white bean, white meat, white cheese, white rice) is good also. Their beer battered fries to me is the best fries I've ever had. Their mac & cheese is also the best I've had. Their flourless chocolate cake is made just right.

Now their service is totally the opposite. Every single time I've eaten theere, we've always had to wait a long time just for the server to first come up to our table. The worst being about 10 mins of nobody coming up to us. None of these times had the place ever been packed either. The worst server was this bald guy with glasses. One time we sat down & when eventually somebody came to our table, it was another server dropping us the menu & telling us that our server will be with us. So we're waiting a while to place the order & when we finally got someone to take our order, it was another server taking our order & then telling us our server will be by to take care of us. When the food was finally done, a bald guy came by to drop off the food & walked away. I found mold on one of my lettuces & when I was trying to find our server, I had to ask another server who my server was. They pointed out to me that it was the bald guy. He never even introduced himself to us. I told him about the mold & he just came back with the check later on when we were finished & never told me anything about the mold. When I asked, he said the chef in the back was crazy & that the chef told him it was wasabi. Anyways, that's just one story.

During 2 of the 3 times I got take out, they only gave me one packet of ketchup for my fries. Ridiculous. Anyhow, there are other stories to tell. But the bottom line is the food is very good. Just don't expect any service.
