What People Are Saying About Mulberry Street Pizzeria

In Short – Both Cathy Moriarty's acting ("Raging Bull") and tire-sized pies draw praise from her famous fans. From Christina Ricci to the late Rodney Dangerfield, their signed head shots decorate the walls and provide stargazing for pizza patrons. The New York-style pizza layers sauce, cheese and toppings on a wafer-thin crust. Spinach-white pizza delivers ricotta and spinach with garlic hints, while the meatball parmigiana hero is an alternative to the pies.
Delicious slices!

We happened upon this spot a few months ago and recently took an out-of-town guest before wandering around Rodeo Drive. The pizza is absolutely scumptious -- the crust is light, yet crispy, and the slices are perfect for folding. Try the riccotta cheese with spinach. Yummy! We will definitely be back for an inexpensive and delicious lunch some time soon.
- Pros: Variety, service, value, pizza crust

Hooray for Mulberry!
Since we Californians don't actually live in New York, we have to pretend to have good pizza. A pie in "The 90210" isn't exactly bona fide.
Thankfully, Mulberry Street doesn't force us to put on too much of an act. Not only is their food simply delicious and completely "NYC" authentic, they even cater to special requests.
Earlier this week, I had an unusual ask of my Mulberry dough thrower. I wanted to make sure a loved one knew just how far I would go to make his birthday extra memorable, so check out what Mulberry's artist created for his special day! Ok, I know...he left out the "t" in "birthday," but who cares? It was still really awesome.
Thanks Mulberry and Happy Birhday!
- Pros: Perfect for a casual bite.
- Cons: Parking is non existent...you will have to luck out on the street
Terrific Thin Crust Pizza

This is the only pizza I eat in LA. It's fantastic. Simple but great quality toppings, nice thin crust & not too much sauce or cheese. Very authentic & reminds me of Italy. If you like eggplant you have to try a slice of eggplant parmigiana (ask them to make it extra crispy). They also have really tasty meatballs, clams with red sauce on linguine, & chicken parmigiana. It's a fun spot if you're visiting LA, you can look at all the celebrity signatures on the wall and old movie posters.
- Pros: Yummy Thin Crust Pizza, Friendly Service, Good Price
- Cons: Parking
