Great place for a great burger. Barney's has the best burgers in town. HUGE burgers, with great fries and shakes. And the cute waitresses don't hurt either!

I'm a fan of the Barney's original burger...but they're all great!

Blah!. I really wanted to get a burger today and looked up Barney's (since its in my area) to see what time it opened. But then I remembered this place isn't the best. I am better going to Cheesecake factory. The services is fine, but its slow and expensive for what you get. And everytime I go to this restaurant I leave unsatisfied. The have a large selection of burgers but what use is it if it isn't good food. And the last time I had a chicken burger it was dry. They also have the worst take out. The food is just thrown together since they know you aren't going to be in the restaurant to get everything corrected the way you want it.

Great food... if you can get a table. Finally, a place where a junk food fanatic and health nut can go together. Barney?s may be known for its burgers, but the restaurant has as many entree salad as sandwich options. Personally, I love the Portobello burger and the Maui Waui sandwich, which comes with pineapple slices, teriyaki sauce and a juicy chicken patty almost twice the size of the French bread bun. The sweet potato as well as spicy curly fries are fantastically flavored and not overly crispy. Also, be sure to save room for the milkshakes, too! The main drawback with Barney?s though is the restaurant?s size. The kitchen extends out into the inside dining room, cutting the already small eating area in half. Plus, there are only a few tables to sit at outside. There?s nothing to worry about with Barney?s as far as the food goes, just only how long you?ll have to wait for a table in order to eat it.

Great Burgers...avoid lunch rush. I went to barney's with some colleagues from work. The place was crowded and oln had Vaet parking. The food was great and made fresh, unfortunately that meant waiting apprxo 45 minutes for a burger. There was plenty of selection with a lot of vegatarian choices. I gota burger, soda and shared fries at the table. This cost me $15 .

Overall the food was good, service was ok, prices a little high for what you get, and slow.

Great burgers--even for vegetarians!. I've loved Barney's ever since living up in the Bay Area where the chain began. Now it's in the LA area and I'm so glad to once again be able to enjoy their sumptuous burger offerings. Seriously, the menu is long and it's all about the burgers, with the occasional salad or other type of sandwich thrown on the side. But don't be afraid to bring your veg-only friends along--the veggie burger list is almost as long as the list of regular burgers! As a side note, the fries should also be experienced.

Great Burger, expecially for the price. I think it's one of the best burgers in LA and definately the best value. There are some burger joints that are beter but you will pay more. They have a wide variety of burgers to choose from. It is cooked more on the well side. Good sides, and they also have veggie, chicken, and turkey burgers (although I have never tried those). Service is fast. Most burgers places I have tried have not been as good as this place.

Better in SF. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Barney's Hamburgers, originally up in SF, had opened a branch down here in LA. Unfortunately, the quality of the food down here isn't as good as what i was accustomed to up north. A few times, it was great, but recently, i've found it inconsistent - a little dry and overcooked despite ordering my hamburger med. rare.
