THE GO TO FOR FRESH AND FANTASTIC

My husband and I have been going here since we were dating. It's the first place we go to when we are hungry and don't feel like cooking. You can pretty much find any craving you want from their menu and you can substitute just about anything for what you like. Potato salad to die for, breakfast is perfect. I am a great cook and love to cook and my husband tells me I am picky about every where we eat and I LOVE THIS PLACE. The staff is exceptional as well.

• Cons: NOT OPEN LATE FOR DINNER

A weekly necessity

Every Saturday requires a trip to Buna. We are buna evangelists. If anyone suggests meeting for breakfast, it's my first thought if they live remotely close to the marina/venice area. It looks like 26 Beach across the street has a great brunch as well, but I've yet to want to pass up a Saturday on the south side of Washington. My favs...1) Buna Omelet or 2) O'Michael's Corn Bread French Toast. I am salivating. We also love the quirky staff there and have gotten to know them by this point. The tall guy is a handful, not to mention Tish the Dish! See you there Saturday.

PS How do we get this added as a candidate for Best Breakfast in Los Angeles?

amazing food.

i read some of the previous statements and i have say that parking in that area has never been a problem for me and i go pretty often and there is a small parking area in the back which people seem to not know about. the food is great and there is a lot of variety. sometimes they are busy and if you are nice they apologize for that the food is averaged price but i think its well worth it. the breakfast sandwhich and berry berry stuffed french toast are definately two things i would recommend. enjoy.
