Cheap Prices Get You Cheap Service

I've been to this place 2 or 3 times, with the cheap 3-massage deal, and I don't recall having a good experience at this location. I was there a couple weeks ago, and the guy who did my deep tissue massage ignored my instructions- I wanted feet, shoulders and neck. I had to redirect him to my feet, when he took forever to get to them, and when he did them, he pressed so hard, it was torture, not heaven. My pedicure lady did ten times better than that 2 days ago when she gave me a 15 minute massage. As I dressed, there was a sign on the door, making it clear what kind of tip I should leave for his valuable, and hard work. I respect what therapists do greatly, but you have to give people what they want, and make their muscles feel good. The two women I had before that were okay.

Quality was going down ...

I am sorry to tell you... but this place, the quality of therapist AND receptionist (specially) are going down and down. I live in Santa Monica for last 17 years and I started going this place about 8-10 years ago. People were so nice and very calming place.. but now, as I read one another review, they demand TIP and the receptionist is very rude. Asking me how much I want to tip BEFORE I receive massage. and my boy friend told me while he was waiting for me, the receptionist was making comment how this client does not tip good or making comment of the person just left and laughing...

One therapist I received massage, she was kept talking talking... I just wanted to have quiet time and not answer any question or speak.

SO, it is sad.

And I just called and no one answered the line... rang 10 times... so I called Brentwood, they answered in 3 rings.

I love my city, Santa Monica, and I want to keep our city a good image and name. I do not think they live in the city... so I guess they don't care, just coming to our city and collect money and go back...

Local people makes local business grow... they should know that.

Sorry, my boyfriend and I are getting massage today at Brentwood. You store lost two good client.

How much tip you give the therapist

up to now have used this Massage Place and clean and friendly and a good service, but his last time this man said i need to tip him more $ as he usually gets $15-20 and i did not tip him enough, this was before the massage which only made me more tense, totally classless and absolutely wouldn't use that service again, totally out of line to say that.

Fantastic Massage & Jazz is a GREAT therapist

I have had a severely soar neck & back for a couple of days and decided to call in to make an appointment. I was able to get a time 15 from when I called. My Therapist was Jazz and she is absolutely amazing!! She listens to you and is happy to change her routine to work on what you need. I left feeling amazing and my soar neck was cured.

  • Pros: Jazz, she is an amazing therapist!
  • Cons: atmosphere. It's no day spa...

Above Average Massage for a Below Average Price

I like that I can call the day of and that they always have a space for me. This last visit I had the pleasure of getting Danny as my massage therapist and he was AMAZING! If you like deep tissue (or Thai) you have to try him.
