Great salespeople/horrible quality control
by shopperwoman22
ordered a three piece doheny chaise in October. I read many of the negative reviews, but decided to risk the purchase as I couldn't find anything like it anywhere (pottery barn no longer carries the same item.) Received chaise within two months, but incorrect (send a left side chaise and two center chaises, no right side chaise.) I spoke to Joe in shipping and he told me he'd have to call the manufacturer. When I expressed my surprise as I was told (and website claims) the furniture is made in LA factory, Joe said, "Yeah, I don't know why they tell the customers that. It's not true." This explains the many complaints of no quality control. Waited three months for missing piece, which showed up today with the wrong feet and a small tear in the fabric. Not sure I'll ever be able to get a hold of anyone there. While I really wanted this unique sofa, it was a very stressful buying experience, and i don't think it will ever be right. There's a reason they've gone out of the retail business. In the future, I will stick to name companies like Pottery Barn, Horchow, etc. I didn't save enough money to make it worth the experience.
- Pros: nicest salesperson ever/basically good piece of furniture
- Cons: no quality control/weak customer service
Love the chaise, Joe and Sheryl, nightmare buying experience

Great Furniture, Great People!

I found IdentityCraft through my contractor who was doing remodeling in my home. I had a totally bizarre space in my family room that I needed a sectional for. They made us an awesome sectional to fit my awkward space. It fits so well, that people think we had it built in to the space. The style is great and the price was over 30% less than what we were quoted at a store in LA. We also had them build us a HUGE dresser with tons of drawers for our bedroom. This is a great place for furniture and I highly recommend it. They are also really nice people and take pride in the furniture they build.
- Pros: Custom Built to your requirements. Great Quality
- Cons: Delivery seemed expensive, but we had large pieces and a tricky stairway
