Wow!! Not cheap, but really really amazing

I must say that if you want to do something that can be done anywhere you might as well go elsewhere. For example Fraxel, Thermage, Velashape are all procedures which you can get cheaper somewhere else.

But when it comes to your face and things like botox and fillers, Dr. Rivkin is a true artist. I said I wanted a subtle lip augmentation, and I got a cupids bow with upturned corners. Unbelievably good. I was stunned as I have had a frown all my life (not because I want to, it is just the shape of my mouth). What a difference! It wasn't inexpensive, but it is a total transformation. So if it is your face you want done, then get the best. Not sure how I will afford it, but who cares with these kind of results. So save your pennies because once you see the results you won't want to let anyone else do your face.

Dr.Rivkin is excellent

Very intelligent and professional doctor with the best skills in injection. He is very nice, knows what he's talking about, does exactly what he claims (unlike many others who bluff). I'm very picky and he had a great attitude listening to what I wanted, and gave fabulous results. He has a superior eye for balance, he knows what looks good and does not overdo it. It's very rare to find someone who possesses both the vision and the skill at such a high level.

The staff are also very nice, especially the nurses. They are always sweet and helpful.

I did encounter a problem during one of my visits with a lady there (I believe she is one of the receptionists) who tried to charge more than what Dr.Rivkin quoted. I had to have Dr. Rivkin speak with her to clear it up. It's a drag having to argue about pricing, but Dr. Rivkin stood by his word and was very nice about the whole situation, though I could tell the woman was not happy. She definitely had an attitude, though she did her best to cover it up with fake smiles. Dr. Rivkin on the other hand was very relaxed and understanding; I saw in one of the previous reviews that a woman had a similar experience with a pricing discrepancy, I read Dr. Rivkin's response and have to say that he is right, he is scrupulous and does not mind using a little extra if that is what it takes to achieve the result. I do love Dr. Rivkin and his nurses, but that one visit when I had to deal with a drawn out argument with the receptionist about pricing was definitely not an experience on par with the quality of Dr. Rivkin's services.

Also his prices are very reasonable especially considering his level of expertise.

If his clinic offers any services you are interested in, you should definitely go in at least for a consultation. For injections you cannot do any better than him.

Westside Aesthetics and Dr. Robert Cohen

My experiences with Dr. Cohen and the staff at Westside Aesthetics have been excellent! I have received treatment using botox, juvederm, and sculptra. While I have been to many different physicians for these procedures, I find that Dr. Cohen is by far the most skilled injector that I have been to. I have even been scheduling my appointments with him to coincide with my trips to California from Toronto. That's just how pleased I am with the results! I also find the staff to be very personable and professional. Very reasonable prices too. It can be difficult to find a doctor who listens carefully to your concerns and provides you with significant but natural looking results. That is why I am writing this review. It has been a journey for me, but I've finally found the perfect fit. Highly recommended.

After My Juvederm Treatment Visits

One of the doctor's assistants consulted with me. I told her that I wanted Juvederm to improve the dark circles under my eyes, decrease laugh lines, and decrease marionette lines. She said it would be 1 syringe worth,(1 cc). Then the doctor came in and I reiterated what I wanted. He told me that I would only need a little bit around my eyes and laugh lines, none around my mouth to reduce marionette lines. I know I didn't have a whole syringe worth yet I was still charged the full 1 cc price. I didn't think about it until afterwards because I thought I had paid in advance for up to the full 1 cc amount. I went in again the next week for a follow-up and needed a little more Juvederm and the doctor was going to charge me for 1/2 a syringe more. I told him that he didn't even use a full syringe and I was being charged the full amount so I should be charged twice. He agreed and didn't charge me again, but he didn't put much in my face anyway, stating that I didn't need much. It still wasn't a full syringe. It wasn't even 1/2 a syringe but I let it go and decided to eat the costs. I had to go to have some of the Juvederm disolved the next week because he had put a little too much under my eyes and he charged me $100 for that. He had told me there wouldn't be a charge but his assistant told me that was wrong and charged me. I didn't want to make a big deal so I just paid it. I did over-pay but I like the work he did. If you don't mind feeling like you've been over-charged, go there. I will admit that I will probably not go there again for Juvederm because I don't like feeling like I'm being over-charged and feeling uncomfortable having to negotiate the over-charge with the doctor.
