Great venue....lousy, expensive service

The drink prices here are really high and the bar tacks the gratuity on to your tab, so don't leave extra tips unless you are really happy with the service. We went on a Sunday night, came early and wanted to eat there before the show. There were 3 of us but they ran out of food, so only one person got served and that was after more than 2 hours...the show had already started. I figure they were aware of the food shortage long before they showed up at our table with the news. When we first arrived and ordered drinks, they told us there was a problem with the computer so we needed to pay our bar tab up front...without a bill. Stupidly we did that, and then found out that the gratuity had been added up front, when we finally got our bill at the end of the evening.

Let me say this, the venue is really nice. It's a small intimate setting and the acoustics were good...which is why I go to a performance in the first place. But, if I ever go again, I will be much more careful with ordering bar and food service.

A Great Place to See A Show

The Vault in Long Beach is a great place to see a show! It's up there with House of Blues and acutally better than the HOB in Anaheim. They have a great variety of music, everything from punk rock to jazz, they cover it. The staff is friendly and the drinks are fair if not cheap. Some of best shows I've seen in the last 5 years were at the Vault 350. Great place to see a show!

• Pros: Great Soundsystem, decent prices and it's easily accessable from LA and OC
• Cons: Parking is 8 bucks

Too bad

Yeah, great performers come here and the seats are great but oh my! the drinks are so expensive and the place can get crowded with some very rude people...the ones in charge dont help either because frankly its like they dont care..
