Editorial Review for Good Microbrew and Grill – by Kim Cooper
In Short
The former Crest diner has had a hops-scented makeover, and now serves a wide range of more than 150 offbeat bottled microbrews. The revolving list of five select draft beers might include Angel City Ale, Bitburger or Great White. A menu of comfort food favorites features everything from typical pub grub to ribeye steak. The ambiance is airy and casual, with purple walls, big picture windows and an '80s new wave soundtrack. Brunch is served weekend mornings.

Insider Tips
When to GoThe weekday happy hour from 4pm to 6pm features draft beer selections for nearly half the normal cost per pint.
Where to SitThe outside tables provide a cozy spot to watch the passing parade of local artists and hipsters.
Know Before You GoThere's no hard alcohol served here. For non-beer drinkers, there's a very limited wine list and a "cocktail" menu with low calorie, low carb Soju vodka drinks like Cosmopolitans and white peach martinis.

The new menu at Good has been great so far. Because I live in the neighborhood, I'm there at least once and week (obviously, I like it a lot). It's a welcoming neighborhood restaurant with great bartenders, involved and a friendly owner, and eager-to-please waitstaff.
Pros: Food, location, atmosphere, beer

One word: awesome! I was looking for something new and original on saturday evening. I came up with the idea to scout out for some good ole American comfort food ... Well here it is :) Just the right restaurant I was looking for: atmosphere is great, service over the top and the menu made me hungrier than when I came throught the door! Man it's been more than two years I haven't eaten fried chicken that was simply delightful! I've eaten 75% of it, and it can easily feed me for the next day. Amazing! I can't wait to go back and taste the rest of the menu! This place has another fan!! ;) Amesome beers.
Pros: Ambience, service, menu
Cons: Parking might be a problem on week-end but I don't think it's a major cons anyway.
