Editorial Review for Pistachio Grill – by Kim Cooper
In Short
It's easy to miss this family-run Persian restaurant tucked into the back of an art deco building. There are a few tables inside, but most customers opt for the garden patio, outfitted with hanging plants and with a bubbling fountain. Specialties include pistachio-flavored hummus; a choice of lamb, beef or chicken kabobs; koobideh (chicken or beef marinated in pomegranate and walnut sauce), spiced yogurt dip; plus homemade baklava, Persian ice cream and fruit sorbets.

I've never been, and wish I had gone sooner! I really enjoyed the friendly service, the pistachio hummus is addictive, and the food savory and delicious. Definitely coming back to try the other dishes!

If I were a painter, I'd paint butterflies. If I were a poet, I'd rhyme with ease. If I were a gardener, I'd hurt my knees, but it I were a kabob, I'd be at P's. G That is. P G's. Or PG rather. Where was I? PG would have worked as well. My teeth hurt. Anyway, this place is really good. Try the salad. It's HUGE!!!!
