BEST WAX SALON EVER! WORTH THE DRIVE FROM TEMECULA!!!. I had my brazilian wax done on 11 OCT 08. (For those wondering why it took me so long to write a review...ahem- I have kids that I'm raising on my own because my husband is stationed in Washington. : )

I was getting ready for my husband to return from his 8 month deployment. Since my time was limited, I had to do everything that day because that was the only day my in-laws could watch my 3 kids. Amazingly, Jodi was great in squeezing me in that morning. She was very sweet and nice to the point she made me cry tears of joy! Her attention to detail was impeccable.

The last time I came here was last year- can you tell I'm a mom, lol- so of course I was excited to return. Jodi was so nice and asked me about my family and how me being a Navy Veteran and having a Chief in the Navy is-- stuff most people just brush off or don't really care. Especially because I'm young-27.

Jodi truly did care and related because she is a mom herself. She was nice to even wax my eyebrows- no charge!

I wish they were closer to Temecula because the only time I get to go is when the kids and my inlaws schedule allow- which seems to be once a year lol. I HIGHLY recommend Jodi and her salon to everyone! She is done and over with Brazilians in a flash- which if you ever had one you know the faster it's over the better! Plus, her technique is virtually pain free. ( I have a high tolerance for pain- 3 kids remember?)

LADIES- ESPECIALLY MOMS- go treat yourself to the best at queen bees, you will be so happy you did- especially with Jodi.....trust me---I am!

P.S. The people who write bad reviews more than likely are haters (competitors) of Queen Bees Waxing-- go for yourself to see why I was willing to drive 3 hours just to get waxed!

Long live Queen Jodi!. I can't even begin to say how happy I am that I found Jodi. She is the best hands down! I have been going to her for over a year now, and every time I am thrilled with the result. She is the absolute master of the Brazilian wax, and she does it so fast, you won't even have time to feel the pain. Her skincare tips are amazing and if you listen to her advice, you'll never have bikini woes again. She always has a positive attitude and welcomes you with friendly conversation. The Queen Bee salon in Culver City is amazing, complete with seasonal muffins, treats, coffee and other drinks when you walk in the door. The products on the shelf are carefully selected and of the highest quality. Her staff is very helpful and accommodating, doing their best to get you the appointment you want. If you live in Southern California, you should be going to Jodi!

Genuine talent, care, and results!. I'm so happy I found Queen Bee! I wouldn't go anywhere else. I had never been waxed before, but despite my fear of the pain I knew I could trust Jodi. And I was right! She lived up to every single expectation written on citysearch, her website, and elsewhere. I had an evening appointment and from the moment I walked in the door both Jodi and her receptionist were so genuinely nice and easy going. I barely waited 2 minutes and Jodi took me in for my first ever Brazilian bikini wax. Let me say this: the pain is real, and Jodi doesn't kid you. The first really is the worst. I have an extremely low pain tolerance (I can't even stand being pinched) but since Jodi's technique is absolutely superb the pain hardly lasts for more than a few seconds. It's comforting to know that Jodi and her staff really care about me as a client as they answered all of my newbie waxing questions with genuine understanding and care. I will definitely be coming back!

Professional, Clean, and Friendly. So I took the plunge and went to Queen Bee Waxing for my first ever Brazilian waxing. When I walked in, I was greeted right away by the girls at the counter. They offered me a seat in the lovely waiting area which was comfortable and smelled of scented candles. Not that I was waiting very long, maybe two minutes. I was nervous at first, but Jodi was so down-to-earth and professional, she instilled a sense of confidence in me right away. She completely explained the procedure, including her hygienic practices and the after care I should be aware of. She chatted with me the whole time (only took about 15 minutes) and before I knew it, I was done. Yes, there was some discomfort, this being my first time, but Jodi told me "the first is the worst." After that, it gets easier. And I love the results! Wish I had done it sooner. I highly recommend Jodi and her friendly staff at Queen Bee to anyone looking for a clean, professional waxing experience. All that and the price was very reasonable too.

The Perfect Waxing Experience: Fast, Friendly and Detail-Oriented. I had read all the rave reviews on Citysearch and figured I had to see for myself. (Note: I hadn't had a Brazilian wax for at least 6 months so I expected it to hurt like none other! ) But compared to other salons I've been to, Queen Bee offered excellent customer service, uber-fast waxing, and they were sensitive - a plus in this field - throughout the experience. Alex was great: she talked me through the whole procedure, was chatty (but still fast and efficient) and made me feel very comfortable as a first-timer.

I highly recommend getting your next wax at Queen Bee if you're up for trekking it to Culver City.

Jodi's my Queen Bee!!!. I've been going to Jodi for two years now and it's been rewarding to not only get the best wax in the business, but also see her grow her business using that great British business sense, wit and smile. Even when I have to go as a walk in after having to give up a scheduled appointment, the wait has been no longer than 20 minutes and Jodi has apologized -why?!?! I'll wait much longer for her great results. And she manages to make the most awkward of services fly by with laughs and great conversation. And the evening appointments --Jodi and her staff are great to stay there with those often convenient evening appointments.

It's been great to see the staff she's brought in and developed -Lisa always has a smile. It's a beautiful space, attentive and personable staff and fantastic results.

Great Staff and Service. I would recommend Queen Bee to anyone, knowing that they will get the same great treatment I received on both of my visits. I was quite apprehensive about going to a new place, but was immediately reassured of my choice upon meeting Jodi and her staff. She made the experience very comfortable and easy... it felt like I had been going there for years! Queen Bee is a very clean establishment and has great "homey" feeling! Although Jodi and her staff seem to be in high demand, I have found it fairly easy to get appointments and was even able to get in on a walk-in with 20 minutes of my arrival. I'm very happy to have found Queen Bee and will definitely continue to go there.

Love this place!. I love Queen Bee. Jodi is amazing. She is always so friendly and quick with my waxing! She makes it so comfortable to be there, considering what she is doing, I was afraid it would be awkward. I have been to a few other places and been disappointed so now I only go to jodi. :-)

She really is the Queen.... I drive an hour and a half from Laguna Beach to come and see Jodi at Queen Bee. I've discovered time and time again that she truly is the best out there. Yes, every once in a while I take a Recommendation from someone for a Wax in Orange County, but I always end up regretting it. Jodi has a knack for making me feel unbelieavably comfortable, and with so many Clients it always amazes me that she can remember something about everyone that comes in. As far as the time it takes, she's super quick, my goal is to be in and out as quickly as possible, because who wants to sit around and chat for an hour while getting Waxed?
