GREAT FIND,SO HAPPY. you go girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!GO SEE SARAH SHE IS SOOO GOOD.I MUST SAY THAT I HAVE BEEN THERE BEFORE TO SEE OTHER PEOPLE AND THEY ARE NOT AS GOOD,SARAH WILL TAKE TIME TO LISTEN TO YOU,INSTEAD OF TALKING YOUR EAR OUT.

THE END RESULTS I GOT GREAT NATURAL LOOKING HILITES,AND A FLATTERING CUT.THANKS CITYSEARCH........

Great consultation between stylist and client. I recently had the pleasure of visiting the cut salon for the first time and will have to say the over all experience was quite nice. Ashley, receptionist/shampoo girl was friendly, charming and gives a great head massage. My stylist, Alyssa and I consulted for quite a long time and together we came up with a color and style that would be right for me. I am happy to report, this is the best my hair has looked in years and the price was not bad either. Thanks ladies, you will see me again.

This was a good find!. I absolutely love my haircut and my color and I would definitely go back again...My stylist was honest in my consultation and we discussed each step before taking it....I was so relieved to find a salon in LA that is affordable and has great results! I have gotten compliments on my hair and I have referred my friends to check out The Cut as well...give this place a try!!!!

NO STYLE. I live in the neighborhood and have passed this salon many times. After researching it here, I decided to try it out. I tried to request several stylist mentioned in the good reviews and was surprised that it seems, that these people do not exist. I finally got one and well it all comes down to this "you get what you pay for". Judging by the quality of service and appearance, i would say this is a chain salon, but slightly higher in pricing. The cut was okay being that i only needed a trim, but no style in the end result. This place was not my cup of tea.

FINALLY! a great hair salon.. I just moved to Santa Monica form Brooklyn about two months ago. And I have had some bad experiences with some of the other local salons. So, I decided to come here to City Search, and The Cut had the best reviews, so I gave it a shot. Man, was I impressed. I got my hair cut by Alyssa, and not only was she really cute, but she was asble to understand exactly how I wanted my hair cut, something which my previous stylist's had found very difficult. I am very satisfied with my hair cut. The atmosphere is very clean and modern, and it seems like everyone who works there is really enjoying themselves. On top of all that I got 5 dollars off a price that was already 10 dollars less expensive than my last hair cut. I definitely recommend this salon to everyone. I am definitely a loyal customer.

badcut. This place is extremely overrated and I got few really bad haircuts there. Because of the salon?s ratings I went back several times, but have always been disappointed After my last horrible haircut I will never go back to The Cut again.

Can we say UNCOMFORTABLE!. I recently was referred to The Cut through a college friend, and I wont be returning. My stylist was completely lacking experience (Ill try and be decent in not saying her name) and personality. I did not feel comfortable from her or the atmosphere. Being that it is my first time, I would have expected a little bit of a consultation , but instead I felt I was very rushed throught the experience. Maybe some people like this treatment from a stylist, but I certainly dont.

Hairstyling skills outshine the beat up lite-industrial look!. If it wasn't for my stylist, I wouldn't have thought of patronizing the business. Granted..the proximity and parking is convenient as is the coffee joint & pizza parlor next door (both are soon to be evicted, I believe, due to gentrification of building!). I must say tho, the atmosphere of minimalist lite-industrial is taken a bit too far and the need for a fresh coat of paint does not lend itself to a clean & comfortable place. The Staff is affable & it's always great to see everyone albeit not in a beat up cramped warehouse. I'll keep showing up cuz it's for The Cut!

2 THUMBS DOWN!. Dont believe the hype. I read it was a good salon for men's cuts, but i think they must be writing the reviews themselves. I got in on a saturday last minute, and i realize it was last minute, but if they didnt have the time, well they should have turned me down. I was in and out in 15 mins. Basically i got a cheapy cut for twice the price.

#1 Pick for a Professional Haircut for Any Guy; Cut to your Specifications for a Great Haircut.. I recommend the Cut Salon to any guy who is looking for a place where the stylist listens to you and adds the highest level of skill in a great haircut.. On Superbowl Sunday, I needed a haircut the day before my first day at work. I walked into the salon to find they had a full schedule until closing. Within minutes of walking in I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day... and with the help of Christina the Booking Agent, I was able to get a last minute appointment with Jeanie within an hour of closing time during the game. (Working as a team they saved me from the first impression of needing a haircut on my first day of work.)

An Excellent Cut to my specifications, and Jeanie has the talent to know what to do to make a great haircut -far above that avereage new haircut when you move to a new city. The price was $10 less than a salon I checked earlier in the day- very reasonable for the area, plus Christina was nice and extremely polite, she made sure I received a $5 discount for finding the salon on Citysearch.

Jeanie has a very high attention to detail, I feel like she earned a well deserved tip. I would recommend her and the salon to any guy needing a professional hair cut for an important appointment like your first day at work. I recommend calling The Cut Salon for an appointment and asking for Jeanie.
