TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !

My husband purchased a gift card for me for $135.00, evidently a new owner took over. When I called to make appoinment I explained I had a gift certificate, the new owner-Monica said she would not honor that certificate. I asked her if there was anything she could do for me and she said NO that was the old owner's responsibility she then handed the phone off to an emplyee without even telling me. As a customer that spent money (no matter what the dollar amount) should have some way met me half way (which I did ask her and she said NO to that too) you feel like you 've been ripped off not to mention for good business and a good business owner should have done something. She was very unprofessional and unexperienced. The out come was I contacted the old owner (Nancie-Soothing Elements) and she was very apologetic for the way I was treated by Salon Monae and refunded me my full $135.00 within 1 day. To me that is awesome customer service and I would definately buy from an owner like Nancie rather than Salon Monae. I know accomodating customer's can sometimes get frustrating, but when a customer's right as a business owner that comes with the territory and you need to be professional and handle the situation not push it off on someone else.

a little piece of heaven - spa treatments by terrie leonel

getting a spa facial from terrie is just a little piece of heaven - be prepared to spend a good relaxing hour away from the cares of the world when you treat yourself (or someone else you love) to a spa facial given by terrie - a nice gown to change in to - soft music and scented candles - many many soft lotions and potions applied to your face and then gently wiped away - i'm telling you - IT'S THE BEST - you come out of there looking and feeling 10 years younger!

terrie's pedicures are wonderful too - you sit on a chair that looks like a throne - and it has adjustable massage features - your feet are in their own private jacuzzi - and just like the facial - many many soft solutions are applied to your feet, which are massaged along with your legs - by time you get your toenails painted you are ready to dance out of there -

best bet - give yourself a day of beauty (and relaxation!) - terrie is a doll!

• Cons: none to speak of

Over Priced Services...

A spa pedicure and manicure almost cost me $80 dollars here! I decided to go somewhere else. I had originally made an appointment there to get ready for my wedding anniversary date with my husband but after I called to confirm the appointment and I inquired how much it would be, my jaw dropped. I asked the girl to please cancel my appointment and she gave me an arrogant, "Ugh!" Very unprofessional receptionist to say the least. I went to A-List nails on Greenleaf instead. I got a better deal on my nails and the staff at A-List was friendly and the atmosphere was very clean.

• Pros: Nicely decorated
• Cons: Bad attitude, the customer is always right!
