Great omelettes here...my favorite is the shredded pork with chiles. The restaurant serves a free Swedish pancake dusted with powdered sugar and jam as a breakfast appetizer. And when it comes to breakfast potato side options, ask for the "cottage fries," which are fried silver dollar-sized chips.

Disappointed. I had just been seated to have breakfast on the outside patio with my small Pomeranian dog when I was approached by the head hostess / mgr who informed me that it was in violation of the CA Health Code to have dogs dine outside on the patio with the exception of service animals. I thought that was strange since I had dined outside with my dog before at various restaurants throughout California before and never had an issue. Some restaurants even served my dog water. So I went home and did some research on the web and found that it is perfectly legal and there has NEVER BEEN any law in California for prohibiting patrons to have dogs to dine with them on an outside patio dining area. IWhat I do not appreciate is the outright lie or ignorance from the head hostess/ mgr at Eggs n Things. Staff should have their facts in line before making up things. I was very disappointed with my overall dining experience because of this.
