In Short – The restaurant's red walls and pale wood decor complement its funky place settings and stylish presentation. Starters include edamame and a gingery tofu salad, but the real draw is the thick, gravy-like curry, offered in more than ten flavors including vegetable, beef and chicken. Most people order the chicken cutlet variety, a breaded and deep fried chicken katsu breast served over a steaming bowl of chicken curry. A selection of sake and imported beer is also available.
Horrible food, especially for the price.

I like Indian food! I have had great Indian all over the country, particularly in NY and CHI. So I expected a lot when I came to this spot.
I was disappointed. The food was not great. It did not taste good at all. My girlfriend, who was new to the whole Indian food experience, was also disappointed as well.
The only good thing about this place was the Indian movies that they showed on a wall. I would never return to this place. Beware!
- Pros: Good decor
- Cons: Bad food, small portions, too expensive
Best Japanese curry outside Tokyo

The curry here is fantastic. They have 3 different heat levels to accomodate all palates, the mild still has decent kick. There are many different ways the curry is available, cutlet (breaded pork, beef or chicken), croquette (breaded mashed potato), chicken or beef (more like a stew)...you get the idea, lots of different choices. If you don't like white rice, brown rice is available.
There are other dishes but curry is the star here. They also have beer, wine, sake, and some mixed drinks. If you want the real deal, this is it.
- Pros: The food is fantastic.
- Cons: Pasadena parking, be prepared to pay.
Food to curry favor!

Since my days at UCLA, Hurry Curry has been a favorite of mine. The Chicken Cutlet and Chicken Pasta dishes are always a great choice. I would recommend going with friends or for a casual date. Seating is prompt, especially in Pasadena, and service is decent.
