Large golden Buddhas shine, glowing lanterns and flickering red votives shimmer on the dark lacquer furniture, while antique birdcages float overhead. De Groot's menu includes Asian tapas like tempura rock shrimp salad, pomegranate tamarind-glazed quail, Vietnamese lemongrass-crusted spare ribs, and sake soy-glazed sea scallops. Entree highlights: spicy seafood hot pot, wasabi panko-crusted skate wing, grilled kobe steak and soy-roasted chicken. Sushi includes seared ahi with yuzu, red snapper sashimi, hama hama oysters three ways, special rolls and more.

we thought we would give it another try but the uncomfortable seats and wobbly tables made it difficult to enjoy The food was average and very over priced even the former Puckateria was better

I live close to Montana and go to Yu 2-3 times a month. Every time I've been very satisfied. The food, service and ambience are great. My favorites are the yellowtail sashimi, albacore sashimi, koihiba roll, lobster tempura roll, rock shrimp tempura... I could go on and on. Love Yu.
Pros: Great food, friendly staff, good vibe
