What People Are Saying About T.G.I. Friday's

In Short – The much-copied look of hardwood floors, decorative stained glass, checked tablecloths, brass rails and walls filled with knickknacks has been a staple at this restaurant franchise. Originally a hit for its frisky bar scene, Friday's is now known just as much for its kid-friendly entrees. The menu alternates between typical American fare (salads, potato skins, Angus burgers and grilled chicken) and modestly international cuisine like fajitas, wraps and pot stickers.
Editor's Tips
- What to Drink:
- With 18-ounce glasses, you might only order one. Friday's is known for its comprehensive drink menu, so try something a little unusual, like the June Bug--made from Midori, coconut rum, banana liqueur and pineapple juice.
- The Extras:
- Gift cards can be purchased in denominations ranging from $10 to $100.

Everytime we come here, there is at least 2 new items on the menu. It's a great hang out for a drink at the bar watching the game, or just having dinner and fun. But more of a restaurant than bar. The food is surprising good, well prepared and tasty. This crowded house is filled with young people also makes it more lively. But overall, the food is good. The downside to it is the wait, which can take a while.
- Pros: food, parking, value
- Cons: wait time
