In Short – Nestled in the heart of the Burbank Village is the first Valley outpost from Silver Lake's Rambutan Thai owners. Deep browns contrast with creamy whites in the dining area; the half-moon bar and lounge stick to the darker hue. Kimono-style silk patchwork lines the cathedral ceilings and adds a hint of color. The menu includes staples like noodles and curries, as well as specialties like rib-eye steak with hot pepper sauce and green pear salad with roasted cashews.
Good Thai Food. Great place for lunch.

I really like Thai Food. I live in Burbank and so Chadaka Thai would be an obvious location to try out. I went with my boyfriend for lunch. He ordered a Chicken Curry dish and I had a Green Beans / Shrimp dish. The food was decent, I especially liked my boyfriend's dish. I find my entree a bit too spicy though. *and I can eat above average spicy-ness*
Now, having relocated to Los Angeles recently from Indiana, I would consider this really good Thai Food. But compare to Hong Kong or Thailand... Err... It's OK at best.
Bottomline : will be back!
- Pros: Inexpensive lunch prices
- Cons: A bit too spicy
gourmet thai food

Chadaka thai has good food. however it is a more high end gourmet kind of thai food instead of more traditional family style cuisine. It was good food but not the best
- Pros: good food
- Cons: pricey
Spicy Food just became Overly Sweet
by Critico
Its high time they shut this place down. Used to be good when they started. They started degrading on a downhill and yesterday was my worst experience.
Hoping to have a fulfilling sunday lunch, we walk in at around 12:30 and find ourselves alone. The crew was yapping inside the kitchen and we had to yell for a hello.
We asked for the food to be extra spicy. The panang curry was sweet, the eggplants in it seemed to be a last minute raw addition. The fried rice was devoid of any vegetables, for a vegetarian fried rice.
We paid 65$ for a lunch of 3 entrees, one starter and iced coffees.Such a waste!
- Pros: None
- Cons: Bad Service, Overpriced Menu, Uncooked curries
