great customer service, great condition, very friendly staff, happy customer, fast repair
I don't know where you went GG1357 but what you describe is not the service I received. Not only they fixed my laptop they did it the same day because I had a plain to catch later that they. They were extreemly professional and curtious. The technician diagnosed it, took his time to explain what was wrong and what needs to be repair. And let me tell you my laptop was ready before i know it.
The prices are the most less than anywhere else I check. I had few quotes for the repair previously which were running over $600.00 and couldn't deliver the same day service.
My repair was less than $200.00 with Computerworks and I had it back within 2.5 hours.
So everyone who's out there that's looking for a professional service with a great service do try this place. I've been going back to them for just about every IT service and support.
Rare Jewel, Peace of Mind is RIGHT. First of all, I NEVER do this! And they didn't ask me to. It's just so hard to find companies these days that simply get it, that I had to give my endorsement. This company has been responsive, fairly priced, honest and innovative. I'm obviously quite pleased. I can finally work. Thank you. You guys rock!

I took a Hewlett Packard printer to be repaired at this place and it was a HUGE mistake. After six attempts at fixing the printer and over $200, I just gave up.
After the first two or three visits to bring the printer back, I wrote an email to their customer service. They assured me everything would be taken care of. This is when they pawned me off on a technician who wouldn't show up and kept giving me excuses. Finally, he simply said it couldn't be fixed. No one called, no one offered me a refund of my money.
I just recently signed a printer maintenance contract for several thousand dollars a year with another company and when they made a visit for another printer, I asked them to see if they could do anything for the one that Computer Works assured me was unfixable- 20 minutes later it was working and is STILL working in great condition!
They obviously don't subscribe to "do it right the first time" and when they aren't knowledgeable enough to fix it, they sure don't subscribe to making the customer happy. $200 right now, or thousands a year? It's the shortsighted nature of their business that is the problem and they want the money right now and care little for the customer. (By now it's obvious I was testing the waters with Computer Works to sign a contract with them, but they sure missed the boat!)
Lastly, waiting in line to be helped at their repair center is a lesson in their ability to do the job right. The people that work there think everyone is an idiot and an inconvenience. They charge exorbitant amounts for silly repairs and ultimately, they don't know what they are doing! (The answer to my question of what was wrong with the printer when I picked it up the first time was "our technician worked his magic with it"! And, sure enough, it didn't work and there were more problems with the printer than when I brought it in!) Yet, they talk down to people when they don't even have the knowledge to fix it themselves. Great approach to customers, huh? (You can read other reviews of people who gave up on them and fixed it themselves!)
You are risking money, time and a lot of aggravation if you use Computer Works, so consider yourself warned!
Great Customer Service & fast repair. I had no idea what happened to my laptop. I took it to them and they had the tech come out and explain everything to me and what needed to be done. My hard drive had crashed and I was so afraid that I lost all of my grandchildren's pictures. They were able to recover my pictures and make my laptop like brand new. Thank you!
Don't bother going here!. I am very busy so I dropped off my unit to fix. The problem wasn't what they said it was and I came home and ended up fixing it myself.
Best Repair Place Around. I have a Toshiba laptop that was a month out of Toshiba's factory warranty and needed a systemboard. Their very friendly staff talked to Toshiba and got Toshiba to cover the systemboard and labor under warranty. I love this company, they were friendly and very helpful and had their technician answer all my questions and it took just two days to get the part from Toshiba and complete my repair. I highly recommend them.
