In Short – Culinary partners Brooke Williamson and Nick Roberts (Amuse Cafe) have transformed the former Cape Cod-inspired Menemsha space. The loft-like dining room features deep orange booths surrounded by woodsy murals, low-backed sofas and wooden-crate tables. The broad menu starts with beluga lentil soup, roasted spaghetti squash gratin and grilled baby octopus. Popular entrees are roasted chicken breast, white salmon with creme fraiche and short rib pot pie. Uncommon, sharable desserts include key lime pound cake and vanilla bean panna cotta.
THE WORST

I couldn't believe how bad the service was and there were only a hand full of customers. It got way worse from there. My wife got a salad that was BROWN and smelled like garbage. When we tried to return it, the manager told us that it wasn't that bad. Wow. Pass on this place. Too many other great choices in LA.
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: The food is SOOOOO disgusting! Never go! Yuck!
Not Worth A Dime

We (7 people) spent three hours drinking and eating and then were asked to move inside because another party showed up. They movedus near the bthroom area indoors. Manager was the worst - snapped at me and told me to sit down. Waste of money especially for No happy hour with bad attitude and rude service. Plenty of great places down the street that appreciate your business.
Great for big groups, good food for $

I went there with a party of 10. We ate in the "back" room. The front part of the house seemed much more happening so if I were a small party I'd recommend going without a rez and eating apps there. Scallop app was good as was the Duck confit. The one blemish was the Spaghetti Squash app that came out during the first course and also on the main course. It was way over garlic'd and I told the waitress that the chef had ruined the dish after we had our appetizers, and when it came out the second time, it tasted the same, so clearly they make the dish before service starts. Pork tacos very good. Salmon also very strong. We went on a friday night and it was very loud so if you are looking for an intimate spot the back room is not it, but you're better out front anyways. Service was very good and the Red Velvet cake for desert was solid as well. Overall great value considering how cheap the bill was.
- Pros: Menu, Service
- Cons: Spagetti Squash
