JUST GOES TO SHOW CITYSEARCH WORKS! Used to be a model...now I'm going to have a baby. Used to live on the Westside...now I live in the Valley. Things change. So I was looking for a new Salon, one that was closer to my new home. And I was looking for a new look, one that was closer to the new me. Thought I'd cut off all that long hair I'd had all these years- go short. Read a review raving about Christine at Suburbia- 5 stars, 99 reviews, a "best of CITYSEARCH" rating & only a few blocks away. Well, I loved Suburbia & I love Christine, mostly because, after a few gentle nudges in the right direction, she made me realize that I didn't want to cut off all my beautiful long hair- and so I didn't (thanks Christine) & I love what she did with it...so thought I would write their 100th review & pay the favor back by helping anybody who like me was looking to find a great Vent Blvd Stylist that you can trust at a solid, full service Salon, with friendly people. The funniest thing was, after leaving the Salon, and looking at Christine's card, seeing that her last name is "Short" HA HA HA- well, maybe it's not THAT funny...but I got a laugh out of it. GO SHORT.

Brazillian Blow Out/Blonde hair

I just got my first Brazillian Blowout and Im FLOORED with the results!!!.....Whose hair is this????......I have always had frizzy hair that takes FOREVER to get smooth and even THEN it only lasts a few hours before its all puffy again.....

My colorist Tawney told me about the Brazillian Blow out.......I tried it and I am STUNNED at the condition of my hair!!!......And not having to worry about chemical damage is huge for me since Ive been coloring my hair for as long as I can remember......even the color is the shiniest its ever been !!( Tawney specializes in blondes and shes absolutely amazing.....my color has never been better...people actually think Im a natural blonde! (shhhh)......our secret....

To ANYONE who is thinking about getting this done ....DO IT!!..... It cut my blow drying time from 20 minutes to 6!!!!....AND I actually let my hair AIR DRY today and its smoother and silkier than it EVER has been even after a professional blow out....without doing anything to it!!.....FREEDOM from the hair dryer......Priceless.

Now every day is a good hair day....THANK YOU TAWNEY!!....Not JUST for the best blonde my hairs ever been but for making it even better with this treatment!!!

i came to suburbia for the first time a few weeks ago. i was really nervous about changing stylists, but MARY put my mind at ease with her in depth consultation and her extensive knowledge about her trade. she gave me the best haircut i've ever had! that's saying a lot because i've tried numerous stylists in the past. MARY, you have a client for life! can't wait to try color with you!
