Stay Away! Horrible Experience!!.
It's hard to know where to start with this review. As an experienced traveler, we've been to many places throughout the world, but few were as miserable as the Malibu Bella Vista.
First of all, this is not a bed and breakfast - it is a home, which is not well-suited to be a B&B. The guest bedroom is next to the children's bedroom, which creates obvious privacy issues. The entire house was dirty, with thick dust on almost every surface. There was no breakfast, just a plate of rolls and some orange juice. During our entire stay, we only met one of the owners, and he made it clear that his wife had tired of the B&B business... this was obvious due to the deplorable condition of the house. Worst of all, there were bedbugs and we were rewarded for our visit with numerous painful bites on our legs and ankles.
I fear that my words in this review are not strong enough to convey our complete and total disappointment in the Malibu Bella Vista. It was really a horror.

Ranch-style B&B in Malibu mountain seclusion..
In Short
Tucked deep into Malibu Canyon since 1996, this two-bedroom, ranch-style home is named for its views of the Santa Monica Mountains. Surrounding vineyards can be taken in from adjacent state park hiking trails or the deck's outdoor spa. The Champagne suite features a private bath, wood-burning fireplace, cable and air-conditioning, complemented by full breakfasts of waffles or crepes made by the married owners. Though secluded, there are beaches and town attractions nearby.
