KABUKI QUICKIE. I took a date on a Saturday night around 7:30...no reservation. We were seated within 5 mins. The place was crowded but not packed. Our service was excellent. Friendly and attentive. The food was very good and served quickly. I especially liked the BBQed beef. They have some terrific combinations so you can have some sushi with other dishes such as Gyoza or other cooked food. This is not Nobu. It's a great place for fast, fun sushi. I'm looking firward to trying other Kabuki locations.

Horrible Service. The service was horrible! You have to order 3 rolls to get the 50% off at dinner and so I did. The waiter proceeded to tell me that he did not believe that I could eat 3 rolls by myself therefore was not going to issue the 50 % discount. I had to argue with him about that. Once he brought our food, he watched me like a hawk to make sure no one else ate my rolls. I mean come on! He never brought my friends miso soup and ignored us most of the night leaving the bus boy to get our drinks. We sat finished for 30 minutes before we got our bill. It was pretty bad. I will never eat there again but walk across the street to Octopus where the service is much friendlier.

yummy to my tummy. the place was very crowded on a saturday night and expected. we were seated promptly only because there were only two of us. the service was ok. i got my water when i wanted and my edamame immediately. our sushi arrived pretty quick. the presentation was ok but the way they cut the rolls were sloppy. they were falling apart and the rice was not wrapped in the nori tightly. they still tasted good and thats all that mattered at that point. i figured it was going in my tummy anyway. every new rest. i try i always have the caterpillar roll (avacado and unagi-eel) to make sure the unagi is fresh. it was yummy! we will be back...maybe at a less crowded time though.

Half Off equals Half Quality, Half Size. This place is a real gimmick and not a real sushi bar. With cramped tables, impersonal waiting staff, and unimaginitive/very average quality sushi it is easy to see the real motives behind this restaurant chain. We ordered several different rolls and they all looked the same. The spicy tuna was not spicy at all, nor did it have very much tuna either (probably a lot of corn starch filler). The spider roll from the outside looked just like everything else and it was supposed to be a premium roll. You really have to wonder about a restaurant that serves half off sushi all day long, why not just call it your regular price?

Kabuki Burbank is afordable and tasty. We had a great experience at Kabuki Burbank. The wait staff was fsat and efficient and the sushi was tasty and well presented and prepared. Plus, the 1/2 off makes it very affordable to eat there. One thing about Kabuki though is that there is a considerable difference in the service and quality at different locations. Avoid Kabuki Hollywood like the plague!!!!

Disappointment. Let me start off by saying I'm a big Kabuki fan, having eaten there more than 20 times at both of the Pasadena locations. For my first time at the Burbank establishment, I won't be returning. We were estimated a 30 minute wait, and after 30 minutes, when I checked back in, I was rudely informed by the manager that it would be another 45 minutes. How can you mis-estimate that much? Once we were finally seated, our food arrived quickly, but it was cold, and once delivered, we never saw our waiter again until AFTER we requested our bill from someone else.

I guess I'll just stick to Pasadena to get my Kabuki fix.

Yummy. Went for dinner the other night with a friend....we both ate and drink a ton and it was only $40 - 1/2 sushi got to love it...and it was very fresh tasting.
