In Short
Venturing into original bar-theme territory, this barn-inspired spot manages a country setting without too much kitsch. The large diner-like front room is painted with subtle cornfield landscapes, attracting dressed-down Hollywood crowds to its tomato-red booths and two pool tables. A mostly college-age crowd takes in the view of nearly a dozen sports-tuned TVs, but the biggest screen is in the barn, a wood-accented bar area with pitchforks hanging from the walls. A long list of megawatt specialty cocktails accompanies bar food staples like the namesake garlic "chicken wangs." Though the classic rock jukebox doesn't make for great swing dancing, the flirtatious singles scene initiates ho-downs of its own.

Bottom line...............DO NOT GO HERE! My friends stay away, and I should have followed The one in NoHo is the biggest POS of them all. The security guards are on a POWER trip, and the servers and bartenders aren't worth the 10% that society says we should tip. Or is it 15%???? regardless, they're awful!!!!!! Stay away

If you go to Big Wangs for the food, be aware that they have completely downsized their proportions. I ordered a Mom’s Meatball and instead of having 4 giant meatballs, I got about 2 meatballs cut up into 3rds served up on a roll half the size of the original. This is not cool. I will not ever go here again unless they change it back. I personally discussed this problem with the owner of Big Wang’s. He was standing right there when I asked why my sandwich was so small. He said they were trying to save money. I don’t see how reducing the value of their product is going to earn them any loyalty. What a rip! If you are going to downsize it, you better charge less. They still charge $10 for half of what you got before. You never desecrate a classic! Nuff said.
