In Short
David Judaken's latest venture has transformed 4,800 square feet of a former office building into a tropical island-inspired dreamland. The club's Balinese design emphasizes sensuous colors and textures, with bamboo, batik and carved-wood accents. A rotating DJ lineup features, among others, promoter Michael Sutton on opening night. Young A-list celebs from Paris Hilton to Mischa Barton have been regulars fixtures ever since.

I thought this place was going to be fun since it's supposedly so exclusive. They had the nerve to try to charge us $20 to come in (3 girls already on the guest list). We said no, then they started negotiating $15, then $10. That was a sign right there. We went into the corner to to discuss it, and the bouncer yells at us to make a decision. So we said fine, we're not going in unless it's free. Then SUDDENLY it was free. Shady, real shady. We get in and there's NO ONE in there. Seriously. It was like 10 people in there and it was a Saturday night at 11pm. We sat one of the couches for bottle service. Some security guy tried to tell us that we'd have to get up if people wanted bottle service. Yeah right, like that was gonna happen. They had a line of people outside like it was Hyde or Area or something, and there was no one in sight. If we had paid, I would've gone back outside and asked for my money back. It was so boring we left after 20 minutes. I can't believe this was ever a celeb hotspot.
Pros: none that i saw
Cons: everything
