David Judaken's latest venture has transformed 4,800 square feet of a former office building into a tropical island-inspired dreamland. The club's Balinese design emphasizes sensuous colors and textures, with bamboo, batik and carved-wood accents. A rotating DJ lineup features, among others, promoter Michael Sutton on opening night. Young A-list celebs from Paris Hilton to Mischa Barton have been regulars fixtures ever since.

although the club is a few years past the A-list crowd, it still has great flow and good djs. the covered patio is great... smoking in an area that looks like indoor instead of being in a trash dumpster area like other clubs. Me and my pack go there 1-2 times a month and have never had any issues other than some drunk guy being thrown out knocked my girls drink down by the back bar, but they gave her a new one and were totally cool about it. Been going to Crimson Opera more now, but Mood still is fun.
Pros: valet, no poperatzi, no snob celebs, great dj's
Cons: only open 4 nights a week.

Ok so the place is VERY small and packed like sardines. That is something I can tolerate but the bartender in the back was a total A$$h0L3! He is a caucasian guy with dark hair who carries service with a smile but in an instant is the worse bartender!!! Why? He gave away my drinks to someone else and only told them to tip him when he made us put a tab on it when we had a tab in the front already! That left a bad taste in my mouth about that place.
Pros: Bartender in the back!!
Cons: Other bartenders were cool.
