The Scene
Under a discreet white awning bearing only a simple insignia, stiletto-strutting starlets ascend a fairy-tale staircase. This nightclub was actually the first ever in Hollywood, opening its doors in the '20s to such legends as Howard Hughes and Clark Gable. A complete renovation uncovered an immaculate two-story space of multiple dance floors, three bars, a cushy lounge area and an outdoor smoking patio. Elite revelers seek refuge in the club's VIP room, which is outfitted with its own dance floor, ultra-white lounge area and balcony overlooking the action downstairs.
The Draw
Toasting their weekend box office or Nielsen figures, celebrities take to this Hollywood Boulevard nightclub looking for exclusivity and a tight guest list. Without a listed phone number or even a proper sign, it eludes the peering eyes of star-struck scenesters. Despite the sometimes-biblical proportions of the line, the worthy journey ends with admittance to a celebrity conclave including 50-Cent, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton.

Went on a Friday night for a friend's bday. We were on the VIP list. Didn't have to wait very long and the people in the front were very cool. Seemed like mostly an Asian crowd that night. VIP area was kind of cool. Bartenders there were drunk and don't serve very well and drinks were 12 bucks. The DJ's also didn't do very well except for 1. Didn't start getting crowded until like 12 p.m. Then around 12:30 some ugly go go dancers and some young lady rap group came up and ruinedthe whole night. It was cool cause my buddy's were there, but I would never come on a Friday again. Parking is $20 so yeah park at Hollywood and Highland structure if you can. The security guys were all very cool and not just a bunch of meatheads.

We went here for a friends birthday party and there were about 50 of us. We were on the "VIP" list which means you wait in line for 20 minutes anyway. I was expecting after all this waiting it would be worth it and it sure wasn't. They had two bartenders working on a Saturday night. I've been to dive bars that have more bartenders. Good luck trying to get a drink. Once we got our drinks which were watered down we headed over to the vip area which was lame. You pay 250.00 to be there and let me save you the money. Don't do it. Just stay down on the dance floor. This club is way over rated. The management was horrible. There were fights and no one broke them up. All I have to say is go somewhere else.
