Eurasian-themed lounge lures local professionals and gay elite looking to find a balance between work and play.. In Short
Completely gutting the infamous Revolver video bar, this grown-up lounge has emerged to attract a more affluent--and more mixed--crowd. In an area better known for its beer busts, martini-drinkers have found sanctuary, with prompt service to boot. Patrons enter on the bamboo-floored lower level, taking to the long bar or leather loungers surrounded by plasma screens and moving to the gentle DJ beats. Upstairs features a VIP-only member's area available for private parties and bottle service.

West Hollywood's growing up!. I am SO delighted with East West Lounge, FINALLY there's a beautiful bar where I can relax and have an amazing cocktail with my friends without screaming over loud music, having my feet stick to the floor, or be crowded to the point where it ruins my night. The staff are friendly (and hot), the cocktails are amazing - the server told me they only use fresh ingredients in their drinks (the coffee martini is DEVINE) and the music is really cool and the decor is lovely. Over a weekend, it's THE place to be seen. It's elegant, sophisticated and I highly recomend it.

The best Martinis in town!!. Finally a place that serves REAL martinis. I have never been to a bar that doesn't serve pucker but these guys get it...All natural juices and fruits...My fav is the Mango and the coffee but my friend also gushed about the Cherry...How do they get it so right...Fun place, great (and hot) french dj's spinning upbeat house but at a level that we could still hang out and talk to friends and meet new people..just a fun place in a very upscale decor...loved it!!

Like NYC. Go here just for the experience of exposed brick and low level light with great decor. This place looks like a locale in the West Village of NY where the academic and artistic meet the finance folks...something for everybody. Great for groups of five...any more is a little tight. It isn't too loud and with french doors that open onto Santa Monica Blvd...the beautiful pass by energetically. The service by the waiters is great but a bit overattentive.

The only minus is that the drinks are ridiculously overpriced. $25 for Belvedere is excessive. And unfortuantely most of the bartenders, who are all cute West Hollywood boys, have pobably never tended bar, which is great, but for me, means not paying $12 for a cocktail. So order from the well and just take in the decor. Even with this setback, I highly recommend the experience. You just feel at ease here.

Sexy lounge for planning ahead.... I went here on a date and thought it an excellent spot to get to know someone better. The decor was fashionable (though some of the art didn't exactly fit) and the furniture was well laid out as there were plenty of sofas for intimate seating. The music was nice, mostly chillout, but nothing too slow. The servers were pleasant- and very pleasing on the eyes. And though it was a bit pricey, I was talked into a drink that was unlike anything I've ever had... in a good way. I highly recommend The Perfect Pair (who knew Pear went well w/Lavender?) and East/West lounge for a great place to go for a date. Oh, and the candles they had set all over smelled great. Random, I know, but you know what they say about ones sense of smell. So true.
