The only Piano Bar in West Hollywood.... I went with a group of friends on Sunday and the Piano player let us sing with him "karaoke" and also played all our favorite songs...he knew so many. We had a great time and the drinks were great, not too pricey either...it was Happy Hour. It's a nice, fun "sanctuary" from what West Hollywood normally has to offer. Also, very classy and great staff.

Small but quaint and classy. Despite the exorbitant price for water, East West here in West Hollywood is fun for a going out group. It takes some time to make it through the line, but once inside, it's comfortable and relaxing. The outdoor area doesn't get too smoky. And the bartenders are quick and friendly despite being too busy to actually do more than serve. Expect a little 'tude, after all this is Gay Hollywood. Otherwise, enjoy.

Great Place. I was there for the first time in a long time with some friends last night and had a great time. I had stayed away for a while because of some bad service and attitude from a waiter. Last night was not the case. I was there with two friends and we were able to comfortably sit and talk. The waiter was attentive and the cocktails were good. It is one of the few gay bars where you can actually hear the people you are talking to. I'll be back again soon.

Avoid on thursdays if you want a hot spot for women!!!!. I used to like going to this club for lesbian Thursdays but for a while now the crowd has been really old and not fun. The club is crowded maybe (too crowded) but with nothing worth staying for! Where are all the hotties that LA is known for? The music is awful also and way too loud. I used to like this place but its ship has sailed. Here on Thurs is not good either, so where now? I won't be going back because it is NOT hip.

One awful beginning. I?ve only been to East/West once and it started out as an awful experience. The waiter totally ignored us the whole night. We had to keep going to the bar to get our own drinks. The waiter kept serving people all around us and never even looked at us. Finally we couldn?t stand it any more and waived the general manager over. He is the only reason I would ever go back. The GM was an absolute gem. He personally took care of us the rest of the night and couldn?t have been better. Just beware who your server is.

EAST/WEST A CLASSY CLUB WITHOUT THE STUFFINESS. I love this place! I can actually be myself. This place is layed back w/class. It's a place to go to relax & have a good time without feeling judged. East/West Bar shows there is still places to go where posser wannabes are not. The people/Staff are super friendly. Can't wait to come back to East/West it's been to long I need my fix!

eeek what happened?. I was there when it opened as well as a few times since and recently in town visited again... something certainly has changed from when it opened till now... the last couple years it has fallen apart. Belvedere and soda 14? Ill just go to hyde or stone rose for that money, and it used to be with a bottle of soda now it is out of a gun as if I was at barneys. the place is gorgous still and the drinks are amazing, however they used to have the best bathrooms in LA, now we had to walk next door to go just because they were so tacky and the stench was unbearable. It used to be consistant service, great smiles and personality, now its attitude over priced things and when I asked a few people what happened they mentioned a management change awhile back and that the owner has quite a bad reputation in town. I think with a little change in somethings it could very well be back at the top like it used to be, but for now they need some reworking. Amazing location, great drinks and the decor is fantastic, BUT it isnt a hollywood hotspot that needs to be charging so high and delivering so low. My friends ordered 4 double jack and cokes and the bill was 100!! thats insane. I hope they have some changes because it is an amazing spot. I remember when it opened being about the customers experience, now i feel it is about the owners bank account. too bad.

Great vibe. I love this place! Every time I am in LA I stop by at least once at night for a cocktail or two. Beautiful surroundings, great drinks and very friendly service. You don't have to be Ellen to be treated super well here.

I'm addicted!!. In a day an age where bars have become overrun with self-obsessed wannabees, where there's nothing truely cool out there, save a house party with some of your closest friends. I find myself torn... ofcourse I want to meet new people, but can I be bothered to put myself through the ordeal of standing in a line, or paying overinflated entrance fees, or standing next to some badly dressed reprobate? The answers No, that's why when I go out, I always find myself safe in the arms of East West Lounge. The ambience is fantastic, I feel welcome, respected and sophisticated merely on walking through the tall wooden doors. On sitting by the bar I feel elegant, on talking to patrons eloquent, on sipping my cocktail merriment!! I just love this place, I think you would too, it oozes class.
